So Cayuga nails on the ******* in Ithaca . Let’s start with the nail tech that did my nails every time I went was absolutely amazing and actually seemed like she liked her job. BUT!!!! The last time I went a few months ago they accidentally overcharged me because they got my slip and my nieces slip mixed up. So they charged us both for a full gel Set which is 75$ . I was only there for a fill and one broken nail. So the very nice lady who was extremely busy with a line of inpatient people behind me wanted to refund me 25$ but my niece had already walked away with my purse and seemed like a big ordeal so I agreed to taking a gift card for MY MONEY instead ,because I knew I would be back. Well I went yesterday to spend more money and add to the gift card for a gift ,the person working the front desk told me there was no value on the card. The gift card was still in the wrapper The lady gave to me. I wasn’t upset at first because I figured he would help me try to figure it out. He refused to help me find out who is working that day. I showed him my bank statement on my phone where I clearly was overcharged for a fill and he was very rude disrespectful and made me feel like i was stupid. I told him that I was a regular there and he said I wasn’t because I hadn’t been there in a few months. My financial situation made it so I couldn’t afford to go there for a few months that’s none of his business. I showed him the date that the charge went through on my phone and it clearly says Cayuga nails Ithaca New York he started laughing and says that they’re not open on that day. I said sometimes when a credit card goes through it’s pending for a day so it might’ve been the day before I asked if he could look to see who was working that day so we can find out who messed up my gift card? He said I would have to come back another day because he wasn’t gonna do it. I asked him what day she would be there and wouldn’t tell me. I had proof in my hands and he still refused to help.
