I sold my car to this business and they were supposed to destroy my License Plate. However, four years after claiming this info- which was confirmed by a "Manager" at the location, I have found out that the plate was never destroyed. In fact it is being used by someone, and putting tickets on it under my name. The business offers no help, and does not put me in touch with anyone when I try calling in. I am out of state, and am unable to go to them in person. Dangerous situation where they maybe selling license plates.Business Response

I went to the business around ending of May to early June to look at a car to purchase, being active duty military I told gem the car I was in need of (drive train) and expected to be treated honestly. I was sold a car that they reset the codes on and when I went to their mechanic nothing was done but we already did a service and reset the codes again, while calling the sales man and telling him what happened he told me to bring the car back and theyll swap me out the car, the weekend I was suppose to go he blocked my number. I then had to call my sister in law to get in contact with the business because of being blocked and was told to come back ONLY when I got the title for the car. After waiting and multiple codes later and the check engine light and I told finally got the title I went down to the city from my military base where they attempted to give me a car with missing panels and doesnt run with rust all over. Everyone who told me to bring the car in then proceeded to leave and the manager told me despite what I was told on the phone hes not doing it, they said the salesman took my $5000 deposit and left the country and doesnt work there anymore but recent reviews Ive seen, he still works there I had to bring my brother there so they can finally take me seriously and they told me the $5000 basically went to ********** (the salesman) pockets and that I have to pay a new deposit to get in another carInitial Complaint

I purchased a 2016 ******** **** C300 from Hillside Auto Outlet May 12th, 2022. I paid them ***** in cash for the car and financed the car thru *********** Financing. Two weeks after purchase the check engine light came on. The seller recommended I bring the car to their service center. I left the car the day and they stated it was just a computer or sensor issue and nothing was wrong with the car. Two weeks later the check engine light came back on the car. I then took my car to ******************* a ******** service center. Please find the damages below that Hillside *********** knew about but still sold me the car. Good Morning, as per our phone conversation the following estimate is not a complete estimate at this time due to additional damage can be found. Need additional diagnostics. As our now what we see are following. B4/4 purge pressure sensor and line. Crankcase vent line (improperly routed and possible damage). Plastic ME bracket missing. Lower oil pan metal plate (resealed incorrectly and leaking). Breather on valve cover leaking. $6029.00+tax. Please advise. Thank you!--*****************************************. - Bayside Hillside *********** stated that my warranty would cover the cost but they will not. They are now not answering calls and coming to the phone after promising to pay for the costs out of pocket.Initial Complaint

on april 21 2022 i went into hilliside auto outlet to purchase a specific vehicle. once i started thru the process they told me i couldnt get the vehicle i wanted but kept pushing me to purchase the vehicle i now have that lead me to this complain. so a 2013 ***** equniox was the only vehicle out of there numerous inventory that i was told was the only vehicle i could purchase since, purchasing this vehicle i have had the check engine light come on 5 times and 4 was within the first 30 days of me having this vehicle. every time i have brought the vehicle back to their service department their service manger is just clearing the codes and telling me its fixed, then i pick the car back up and within days the check engine light is on again. i had to take it to a professional mechanic shop for them to tell me what is actually wrong with the vehicle. the shop i took it to explained that hillside auto sold me a lemon and the car has engine issues and i was to take it back with the paperwork he diagnosis the car with so they can deal with it. according to lemon law hillside auto should have taken the car back and placed me in another car once speaking to the general manger ******************* he refused to do that and he told me that the i was to bring the car to there shop the same shop that keeps clearing the codes and hasn't fixed the issue at all. ******************* refused to assist me further than this point saying he wasn't honoring the law and if i didn't like it to take him to court. i have lost close to **** in lost wages due to their negligence because i use my car for work and me not having my vehicle and in working condition for work i dot make money the money i use to pay for bills like this car note that i have for this messed up vehicle. my resolution is to be out of this vehicle and into another and to be fully compensated for my lost wages due to their negligence.
