One of the employees acting as a Manager did some repairs to my car. after a few days a discovered that the sliding switch that controls the outside and recirculating air only slide half way. I took my car back to the auto shop spoke with the employee that worked in my car explaining the problem. While trying to fix the issue one of the cables broke, He told me that he would order the part and would fix the problem. I waited and stopped several times over the weeks to ask if the part came in and i was told that because of distribution problems they didn't have the part yet. The last time I stopped I spoke with the manager to inquire about the part that's when he checked the computer and the part was never order by that employee and because of issues with other costumers and taking money from the shop he was fired. After investigation more about the part the manager found out it would cost about 380 dollars to repair the issue since the car manufacture only sells the assembly not the individual cable an I as the customer was responsible to pay for the part fully. I don't think this is correct because when I brought in the car that part was working fully. And it looks to me they are not taking responsibility for the work they performed and blame me for paying the bill in cash. Please I need your help to solve this issue and willing to pay for some of the part.
