He was supposed to repair my power shaft for my **** *** by replacing the U-Joint.    He told me my parts were badly damaged and made all new for $302    I went back the next day to get back my original parts. He was upset and accused me of not trusting him. he returned the parts to me which were on a shelf, not in the garbage. I took my old parts to the **** store in Greece, NY where I bought a new U joint. My friend put it together with no problem. The new U joint was $29.    He lied to me about the damage to my parts and charged me $302, which was an excessive amount. In reality he only needed to replace the part in the U-joint.

Response taken by phone:  We repaired this over a year ago and have not heard from him since.  If there was a problem he should have contacted us last year.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. The business is lying.  As you can see from the attached receipt the work was done on 6/12/2023.  Why did you charge me such an excessive amount for parts I didn't not need.  I got the parts back and got them repaired and they are fine.  It only cost $25.    Regards,  ****** *******

Your parts were taken out of the recycling pails, not off the shelf as you stated.  A lady picked them up.
