On July 20224, someone from National Recovery Solutions called my family members in an attempt to collect a debt. They do not have my permission to contact anyone other than me or my employer's permission to contact me at work, and should cease and desist. Failure to do so will result in filing a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau.

Ms. *****, Thank you for your correspondence on this matter, as required by the FDCPA, we have ceased contact on the account and have requested validation of the debt. Contacting a third party for the purpose of obtaining location information on a consumer in and of itself is not a violation of any part of the FDCPA. As requested we have placed your account in a cease and desist status until we can provide your original contract. Thank you

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention, we take complaints of any kind with the utmost seriousness. In reviewing the file in question, we categorically deny the allegation that the consumer called in and was spoken to rudely. The fact of the matter is, we have never spoken to the consumer on this account at all. Not via an inbound or outbound call. Additionally, in response to her allegation that we are “harassing” her husband on his cell phone, we have made no efforts to anyone associated with this Account that fall outside the bounds of the local, state and federal regulations that govern our industry. As such, the allegation that we “harassed” anyone. Is factually untrue. Because we are a company that cares about the consumers that we contact and our reputation as a compliant and law abiding agency, we will remove this consumers account from any further contact by any method, this firmly denying each and every allegation herein. We have no real reason to contact consumers that have no interest in resolving the matter at hand.

They continue to harass me and my family members. I want any and all contact to stop. They are only allowed to call a family member once and they have been calling them constantly. My family is getting stressed out

Thank you for bringing the matter to our attention, we take compliance very seriously here. After an investigation, I could find only one instance of our agents speaking to anyone associated with this matter and it was the consumer’s sister. This contact happened on 12/19/2023. Once we spoke with the consumers sister, we immediately flagged the account so that this number will not be called again. The consumers  assertion that “have been calling them constantly” is completely factually incorrect at best. Here at NRS we stand behind our sterling compliance record and the fact that we have checks and balances in place within our systems that help us avoid any issues such as the one falsely alleged here. Please feel free to reach out if we can provide any further information regarding this false allegation.

National Recovery Solutions (NRS) contacted me claiming that I owe a third party, Mosaic Solar, approximately $48K. I explained to NRS that this was a fraudulent charge as I cancelled the Solar agreement within the allowed timeframe. NRS even have a copy of the agreement showing the deadline date to cancel and I provided them a copy of an email showing that I cancelled the agreement prior to that date. Still NRS continue to call and threaten me to come up with a payment agreement even though they know that I was never provided solar service and never had solar service. After I refused to pay NRS for the fraudulent charge they proceeded to put a collection on my credit report.

Thank you for bringing this very important matter to our attention. I have personally listened to all telephonic conversations with this consumer and never was anything remotely resembling a threat said by any of our agents. For now, we have removed the account from our calling strategy and have ceased any credit reporting on this account until we can verify the validity of the consumers claims.

This company has been calling me nonstop about a student loan debt. The student loan debt was originally being paid, but due to COVID, I was only paying the bare minimum payment. Even though I was paying, they turned it over to the debt collector who has been harassing me nonstop multiple times per day and is now calling my work phone number to get a hold of me. I attempted to say I would pay the original loan amount per month ($350) but they said it would "take too long to get the payment" and refused. They will not negotiate, and are only interested in harassment and intimidation. Mike is the person who keeps calling me. I want them to stop calling unless they are interested in the $350 per month.

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. I have read over the consumers complaint and reviewed the account in question in detail. The fact of the matter is, this account was just placed with our agency on 10/18/2023 and has been called twice since that date. The consumers assertion that we have “been harassing me nonstop multiple times per day and is now calling my work phone number to get a hold of me.” Is categorically false on its face. Additionally, we have not yet even spoken with this consumer to turn down any alleged offer for payment. My thought is perhaps the consumer has us confused with an agency that may have had this account prior to placement with our agency. If this consumer is indeed interested in working out a repayment plan on this account we would be happy to assist her with that. We cannot however accept the allegations she has put forth in this complaint as they are entirely false.

I received a call from a "message delivery service" that asked me to call NRS re: "some legal paperwork". When I called NRS which is a company I had never heard of, I was told it was on a medical bill for my child from 4/2016. The bill was for over $1500 supposedly to an urgent care. My son never saw or sought our medical care during this period of time. EVER. I told the person on the phone there was absolutely zero chance this was accurate. I have no clue where they even got their information from. It was extremely bizarre and unnerving.

Thank you for the information regarding Ms. *******. While we certainly can sympathize with her experience, this is a case of mistaken identity. We do not have a file for Ms. ******* in our office, nor do we represent any clients that place urgent care accounts with us. We wish her the best in getting to the bottom of this matter.

National recovery Systems (NRS), LLC has refused to accept any of my USPS Certified Mail correspondences (Tracking Numbers: ******************** and ********************) that directly reply to and address the allegations of a debt from a vendor/ entity/ organization I have never heard of or conducted business with, that NRS, LLC is representing. By deliberately obstructing and or delaying due process, NRS seeks to materially affect the respondent (alleged debtor), utilizing such predatory tactics it prevents open dialogue and possible resolution in favor of unscrupulous business tactics aimed at manipulating said processes to collect their client's debt without confirmation, validation and or recourse. It is my belief that NRS, LLC is refusing accept my official correspondences in response to their written notification to gain the requisite time allotted in order to forward damaging information to the credit bureaus' to force the alleged debtor to comply to their demands. However, the proof of claim is the burden of the alleged and to date I have not been presented with any such proof, which should have been sent with any notification. Therefore it is reasonable to assume that NRS, LLC and its client have no proof, and are desperate to collect from anyone they can effectively harass, bully or intimidate. Again, I have sent two official correspondences via USPS (certified mail return receipt requested) within 20 days of notification of an alleged debt and USPS has attempted delivery to no avail. Clearly a response to notification and an expedient resolution to the matter is not NRS, LLC's objective.

Thank you for your correspondence on this matter. At National Recovery Solutions we strive to provide the best in customer care and service, so when issues like this arise, we take them seriously. In the Case of ***** *******, A quick search on the USPS website of the tracking number provided shows that the USPS never attempted to deliver of the certified letter and a search has been put on the piece as it appears to have been lost. We cannot sign for certified mail that was never delivered. For the second tracking number, the letter was delivered and signed for, and the account has been put in a cease and desist status in our office and no further efforts will be undertaken to contact the consumer. We have not, never have and never will refuse any official correspondence and we have no interest in providing anything damaging to any organization, including the credit bureaus. If ***** would like documentation of the matter that is in our office, we could be happy to supply that upon request, however nothing has ever been requested so as such, we have complied with the cease and desist request.

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory, provided the business (National Recovery Solutions, LLC) contacts me directly, in writing, via email or snail mail (USPS, ***, *****, etc.) in response to my correspondence(s) they stated, to the BBB, were received by said business.   This is a matter of record, given the seriousness of the allegation(s) of a debt, and I would like to maintain a file if in the future I am again forced to defend my person and professional reputation.   Regards, ***** *******
