This company is relentlessly calling with nasty threats about taking action about a debt. They are using my middle name as my last name and keep proving a wrong social security number to “confirm my identity.” I’ve told them that is not my information yet they keep calling and leaving voicemails. This company is not even BBC accredited. They are most likely a scam as credit collectors don’t send threats.Business response

WE CALLED ******* ONE TIME TWO DAYS IN A ROW SHE TOLD US THAT IT WASNT HER SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER OR DATE OF BIRTH THROUGH OUR VERIFICATION DEPARTMENT AND WE HAD HER NUMBER REMOVED FROM THE ACCOUNT. IT WAS A SIMPLE WRONG NUMBER AND WAS REMOVED. THE INDIVIDUAL WHO THE ACCOUNT IS FOR HAS THE SAME NAME BUT DIFFERENT SOCIAL AND DATE OF BIRTHInitial Complaint

I received a message, threatening legal action if I did not repay a debt from a few years ago. The harassing calls didn't stop even after I made a payment arrangement and requested being contacted by email to which the agent told me that the company does not do that... also, I was given a contract to sign that had someone else's name printed on it... the same collector even went as far as reaching out to a person who isn't my spouse, nor partner about contacting me when they're countless email responses to the company. I I also have no access to an account to see my remaining balance, and everything just seems so gray and suspicious.Business response

We had a $100.00 pulled out of our account by this company on a card I wouldn't use. I've never heard of this company and there was no phone number to contact them. Warning this is most likely a scam. No one has ever contacted me and it also said I was present at the time of the transaction I'm 7 states away. This company is threatening to take me to court if i don’t pay a certain amount of debt from 2019. This company is not even BBC accredited. I want them out of my life and to please stop contacting me.Initial Complaint

Back on 12/5/2017 we received a call from this company stating that we owed a debt for a bank account that had been past due and that if we did not pay the past due amount that we would be taken to court over the amount. The requested that we pay $428.16 and the debt would be covered or we would have to pay a higher amount and be taken to court. So we made the payment of $428.16. Now, we have the bank contacting us requesting that we pay the past due amount and that they had not received it. We have tried contact Capital Currency Solutions multiple times for the past week to try to get information or proof of payment and every time we call it ring until it reaches a voicemail and we have emailed personally and through their Contact Us option on their web site with no response. I am now worried that we have been scammed by this company. The only proof of payment I have is the bank account statement showing where the $428.16 was taken out of my account by Capital Currency Solutions. We are requesting that they contact us as soon as possible in order to get proof of this payment so that we can send it to the bank to show that the debt was collected by this "collection agency".Business response
