To the Better Business Bureau,Subject: Formal Complaint Against Hereford Insurance Company I am writing to formally complain about Hereford Insurance Company regarding their fraudulent business practices related to my Additional Personal Injury Protection (APIP) claim following my motor vehicle accident on December 18, 2022 (Policy No. ***********, Claim No. ************).After the accident, I sustained severe injuries and underwent surgery on March 12, 2024. Hereford initially acknowledged my entitlement to APIP benefits, agreeing to pay me $513.92 per week for supplemental lost wages. However, they later retracted this agreement, citing misleading case law that does not apply to my situation. This refusal to pay constitutes a breach of contract and demonstrates bad faith.Herefords actions have caused significant financial hardship, as I currently receive basic economic loss Workers Compensation, which is insufficient to support my family. Their requests for extensive documentation, including tax returns and disability letters, only to ignore their obligations, have added to my distress.The emotional toll of their actions has been severe, impacting my mental health and family life. My family has faced significant sacrifices due to my inability to work, and the stress caused by Herefords negligence has strained our relationships.I urge the Better Business Bureau to investigate Hereford Insurance Company for their fraudulent practices. My vehicle was struck by another vehicle insured by Hereford insurance. I have called and filled out their online accident report form. I have received 1 call back after leaving a message 2 weeks ago and have yet to get any response. All I would like is for my vehicle to be repaired. On 3/23/2024 I was involved in an accident where the other driver was 100% at fault. I called his Insurance company, Hereford Company, to file a claim, a Spanish speaking operator helped me. I received documents in the mail, which I had an interpreter complete and email back to Hereford Insurance Claims Adjuster, *****************, on 4/18/24. I never heard back from them. *** tried calling them on numerous occasions and the adjuster never takes my call. I call the regular phone number and whenever I ask for a Spanish representative, they immediately hang up on me, they dont even ask me to wait or call later or anything. I have called the adjuster and left messages, she never calls me back. I hired interpreter, *************************, to call for me and they never return her calls either. I have had no transportation for over a month and I have paid taxis to get around and take me to doctors visits because I sustained injuries in the accident too. The interpreter advised them I needed to rent a vehicle in the meantime while they assess the damages to my vehicle and resolve my claim and they never replied. The Adjuster has not even sent someone to inspect my vehicle and assess the damages yet. This Insurance company is so unprofessional and irresponsible that even my blood pressure has gone up because of them! Please help!Customer Answer

I was a passenger in a car accident (this car is insured by Hereford Insurance). I was injured in the accident and took an ambulance to the **************************** I need the following information to send to *** so they can send the bill to Hereford: Adjuster's name, ********'s telephone #, Claim #, Hereford Insurance billing address, and if necessary, the assignment of benefit form. I filed a claim on October 9, 2023. To date, I have not been contacted by the company. I have not been assigned a claim number or adjuster. My car is sitting in pound collecting fees. on 6/3/2022 a Yellow Cab insured under this company hit my car when he was making a U-turn from the opposite side of the street causing damages to the back door in my car. I have been contacting this company for a month (calls, emails, voicemails) with no response whatsoever. My insurance have been making attempts to reach them as well, but no one is responding. This is clearly a no-fault situation on my end and my car need to be repaired as the door doesn't close properly since the accident letting air inside the car and it's becoming a safety issue. Your company didn't even acknowledge that they are aware of the accident or provided a claim #, absolutely nothing.
