Since late July 2022, when BBB had its first report of the company, consumers have submitted 179 complaints and submitted 14 Scam Tracker reports alleging issues with the business. As of December 20, the 44 customer reviews on the Roger Florist’s BBB Business Profile averaged 1 out of 5 stars.
A common issue BBB complainants brought up regarding Roger Florist? Refunds. Those purchasing from Roger Florist frequently told BBB after placing their orders, the company reached out to say they were unable to deliver to the customers’ areas and would issue refunds. However, according to these complainants, the company had yet to follow through. Other complainants alleged their orders simply never showed up.
On December 20 there were 121 unanswered complaints on the Roger Florist Business Profile as seen on BBB.org.A message on the homepage of Roger Florist’s website, rogerflorist.com, reads “Thank you for trusting us for the past 15 years.”
In apparent conflict, the company was registered in New Jersey as an LLC on February 28, 2022, and its website domain registered about ten months earlier in April 2021. BBB tried contacting Roger Florist LLC on December 5 and 9 via the phone number on the company’s website, but on both occasions, the calls disconnected after ringing several times.
Additionally, an unaffiliated Georgia-based flower delivery company that uses a similar name—Roger’s Florist & Flower Delivery—has been in operation since 2007. That company currently has an A+ rating with the Atlanta BBB.
