Okay I paid the school 625.00 for there truck and instructor for dmv road test I went to the appointment and the instructor failed me twice for the most rediculous reasons. I should have listened to the instructor as he told me the state of mass was in hot water for handing out CDL licenses and wasn’t reporting and they were turned in for it . He began telling me before he started his machine if I wanted to say anything before he did proceed to turn it on it then would be recording and we could speak about anything besides the actual exam . He also stated I was Bette off going through then there at there school or site into cause of what reason I have no idea. They then set up a second road test through them and there instructor again for the second attempt. He then failed me again for simple reason. My point is they never recorded the first test and simply took my payment that’s not right! I have proof showing I paid and tested on specific dates and it’s clear there is some money that’s not been recorded and they charged and penalized me for the two attempts, to make it more clear I did just what he said to do and I went to dmv and scheduled a road test and passed with flying colors. Please help!

Hello,On 3/5/24 ****** paid $625 for a road test and a truck rental. See the attached enrollment agreement. This test was provided on 3/12 and ****** failed. On 3/14/24 ****** paid $150 to the school for a retest fee and $40 to the state for a road test fee. This test was provided on 3/28/24 and ****** failed. On 4/1/24 ****** paid $150 to the school for a retest fee and $40 to the state for a road test fee. This test was provided on 4/12/24 and ****** passed. Here are details of his failed road tests:On 3/12/24 Mr. ****** failed the Vehicle Inspection (VI) portion of the CDL Skills Test for failing to complete the Static Brake Test correctly.  During this portion of the test, the driver must turn the truck off to check for leaks in the system while applying the brakes.  Mr. ****** did not turn the truck off before applying the brakes.  This means that the air compressor will continue to build pressure, which invalidates the test because the student cannot observe any leaks. On 3/28/24 Mr. ****** again failed VI for failing to complete the Static Brake Test correctly.  During this portion, the driver must press both buttons to release the tractor and trailer air brakes, allowing him or her to observe the buttons popping out to engage the emergency brakes in the event of a loss of pressure.  Mr. ****** left both buttons out with the tractor and trailer brakes engaged, so he could not verify that they activate at the required air pressure. The digital tablet used for scoring records the audio of every CDL Skills Test administered.  Although we do not have access to the audio from any test, this audio is saved automatically and should be available from the NY DMV to review for accuracy or further questions.

September 2021 I paid 7,000 to train to get a license. It took 3 months from the time I enrolled to get in a truck. My last test was another 3 months after. I have forgotten everything they showed and what I read about. I am trying with another school and I only had to wait 2 weeks. The master tractor trailer program did not include all the days I was promised. They told me to get an automatic restriction or they would end my program early. Josh one of the instructors threatened me with assault while in the truck. I was also able to get through a roundabout my first time at the other school and that is why I failed my road test going through the cdl school. I wanted to get my license with no restrictions, that’s what I paid for. I realized that there’s more involved and they were not prepared to give me what they advertised which is a CDL A license with no restrictions.

This is in response to the complaint submitted with the ID# of ********. This student was scheduled and completed all the hours included in his program. He also requested to take his road test in an automatic transmission vehicle. We can offer an additional road test at no charge, however there is no additional training provided and the student is obligated to pay the NYS DMV fee of $40 in order to take the re-test.
