A used 2014 ****** Forester with ******* miles was sold to ***************************** on 04-14-2023. The vehicle was originally being sold with a service contract warranty bundled with the vehicle. Customer was financing and it would have effected payment approximately $1 a day or $30 a month. Customer states he wants to buy the vehicle as cheap as possible and would like to purchase as is. I advised the vehicle is used and will be sold as is, and it is against my advise to buy any used vehicle without a warranty just in case of future cost of repairs. Especially on this particular vehicle being over ******* miles there is no lemon law coverage and cars sold in *** with over ******* Miles are sold completely as is as per *** Attorney General Lemon Law.  Customer states he understands and with all due respect it is his money and he would like to proceed as is without warranty. Currently a few hundred miles later the customer is in need of repairs and is asking me for money. I always go above and beyond for my customers, I offered to pay more than half of his bill with his mechanic even though he purchased the car as is, I was going to purchase an engine for him and he would pay his mechanic to put it in. His father was happy with this and shook my hand with a smile, however Customer states he is still unhappy and will contact police, BBB, and so on and my offer is unacceptable and that I should pay for everything even though he has no warranty.  At this point nothing is being offered and we can stick to the as is contract the customer chose when purchasing the vehicle. See attached signed and dated supporting paperwork.
