      Hello, I am a truck driver who works over the road, I depend on the money that I make and not my credit. Its been a while since I've pulled my credit report and Ive come across this company who I do not recognize especially never having a contract with them. I am not liable for this debt with (******** *** **** ** ********. I do not have a contract with Rocky Mountain Capital Management LLC , they did not provide me the contract as requested.

      Rocky Mountain Capital Management ("RMCM") is in receipt of the complaint submitted by ******* ******** in this matter. RMCM is a debt buying company that acquires portfolios of charged off consumer debt directly from the issuers as well as resellers.  RMCM does not engage in any type of credit reporting activities.  RMCM acquired Mr. ********'s Total Card account directly from the issuer - The **** ** ********.  The **** ** ******** credit reported his account, not RMCM.  As the **** ** ******** was the entity that credit reported this account, Mr. ******** will need to address this matter directly with the **** ** *********  RMCM has no control over what the **** ** ******** credit reports with respect to these accounts.

      Rocky Mountain Capital Management "RMCM" is in receipt of the complaint submitted by ******* **** with respect to this matter.  RMCM is a debt buying company that acquires, sells and outsources portfolios of default consumer debt.    We acquired Mr. ****** Total Card account from the **** ** *********   RMCM does not credit report the account we acquire nor do we engage in any sort of credit reporting activities. It appears that the original creditor, **** ** ******** - ***** ****, credit reported Mr. ****** account prior to selling to his account.  As we do not engage in any type of credit reporting, we have no control over what **** ** ******** may have reported to he credit reporting agencies with respect to Mr. ****** account.  If Mr. **** has any issues or concerns relating to the credit reporting of his account he will need to contact **** ** ******** directly.

      Rocky Mountain Capital Management sent my account to a *** ********* and they are calling my ex husband and ex mother in law telling all my information. I have tried to contact Rocky Mountain Capital Management to resolve the issue with them and have not received a return call.

      We are in receipt of the complaint submitted by ****** ********* and have had the opportunity to review the same.  Ms. *********** charged off Total Card account is being serviced in-house with Rocky Mountain Capital Management. On June 21, 2023 one of our agents spoke with Ms. ********* concerning her account. At that time Ms. ********* indicated to our agent that she was looking to setup some sort of payment arrangement on her account.  Ms. ********* indicated to our agent that she would call back to established a payment arrangement.  Ms. ********* never called our company back concerning this matter and a couple of calls we made to her to follow up on this matter went unanswered and our requests for her to call us back were not responded to.  We are more than happy to still work with Ms. ********* to resolve her account.  If Ms. ********* still wants to to discuss payment arrangements or desires any additional information concerning her account, we would ask that she contacts us office.  Based on the above, we trust that we have satisfactorily addressed the concerns raised in Ms. *********** complaint. All collection activities engaged in by our company were done in a compliant and professional manner.

      We are in receipt of and have reviewed the complaint submitted by ***** ******. Rocky Mountain Capital Management is a company that acquires and outsources portfolios of defaulted consumer debt.  Rocky Mountain Capital Management does not engage in any type of credit reporting activities and never reported Mr. ******'s account to any credit reporting agency.  The original issuer ***** **** * **** ** ******** most likely credit reported Mr. ******'s account.  As such, Mr. ****** will need to contact **** ** ******** to address the credit reporting issue.  If this account was opened as a result of fraud, we would request that Mr. ****** either provided us with an FTC Identity Theft Affidavit or a police report so we may formally close his out out as fraud.

      This collection agency has been paid in full and lying to credit reporting agency saying it remains unpaid and charged off when in fact it was paid on 3/7/2022 via Bank of America checking account.

      Our company is in receipt of the complaint submitted by ******** ********.  We have reviewed her complaint in detail and respond as follows:  Ms. ******** did in fact settle her defaulted Total Card account in March of 2022 with our company. As such, her account is considered paid and she has no further obligation with respect to this matter.  Rocky Mountain Capital Management does not credit report the accounts we acquire and we have never reported Ms. ********** account to any of the credit reporting agencies.  The original issuer of the account may have credit reported this account.  Unfortunately we do not have any control over this process and Ms. ******** would need to contact Total Card directly to ascertain why they are still credit reporting this account. We have advised Total Card that this account was paid but it is ultimately up to Total Card as to what they do woth respect to the credit reporting of this account.

      Rocky Mountain Capital Management LLC is in receipt of the complaint submitted to your agency by ***** ******.  We have reviewed Mr. ******** complaint as respond as follows: Rocky Mountain Capital Management is a debt buying company that acquires, sells and outsources portfolios of defaulted consumer debt.  Mr. ****** called our company on January 4, 2023 concerning this account and the fact that is was opened fraudulently.  After speaking with Mr. ****** we recalled the account from the collection agency we had it placed with and then closed the account out as fraud.  Rocky Mountain Capital Management does not engage in credit reporting and never credit reported this account.  This was communicated to Mr. ****** during the phone conversation on January 4, 2023. If the original creditor reported this account to the credit reporting bureaus, Mr. ****** is going to have to directly them with them as we have no control over what the original creditor did in terms of credit reporting prior to our acquisition of the account.  We consider this matter to be closed as we appropriately handled this matter back on January 4, 2023 when Mr. ****** contacted our company.

      I had a third party company (*********** Services) under Rocky mountains Capital Management contact my family members by name of ***** ***** and leaving threating messages and stating that there was a claim filed, that it will become a matter of public record and there will be an order or location issued, another call she made was to my daughter stating that I needed to reschedule an appointment for documents to be signed for enterprise ###-###-#### and a third call made to my mother, and who knows who else they have called as I haven't spoken to some family members in years, I called to get information and was given the run around my questions were not being answered and they refused to provide me with any address and or further information, they stated they were a 3rd party company, the only name she could give me was "************" I then called them and they stated they had sold the debt to Rocky Mountains and what I actually owed was $300 but I was told from Kelly Morgan that the debt was over $2k. I then kept getting phone calls from ###-###-#### after hanging up and trying to speak with Kelly Morgan who sounded just like the person that left a voicemail to my brother named ***** *****. I had to send a cease and desist letter and it was faxed to Rocky Mountains today 06/03/2022- I asked for information of such debt to be sent to me in writing and in the mail to which Kelly Morgan refused and kept giving me the run around, I asked that my family not be contacted immediately, I was hung up on twice, I would like clarification of this debt in writing and file a complaint against harassment as I am being called after-hours and from various phone numbers all hours of the day and during working hours.

      Rocky Mountain Capital Management is in receipt of, and has reviewed, the complaint submitted by ***** ********.  Rocky Mountain Capital Management is a debt buying company and broker that buys, sells and outsources portfolios of defaulted consumer debt.  On November 1, 2021, Rocky Mountain acquired ***** ********'s ************ account directly from the issuer.  That very same day, Rocky Mountain sold this account to ******** **** *********  Rocky Mountain never outsourced or worked ***** ********'s account in the short amount of time it was with Rocky Mountain.  Rocky Mountain, as a result of this complaint, contact ******** **** ******** advising them of this complaint and requested that the account is closed and returned to Rocky Mountain due to the complaint as this required in the sale agreement between Rocky Mountain and ******** **** *********  The account has been returned to Rocky Mountain and has been placed into a close/cease and desist status to ensure that ***** ******** is no longer contact regarding this matter.  At the time Rocky Mountain requested the return of the account from ******** **** ********, Rocky Mountain was advised that the account was outsourced to Pioneer Recovery by ******** **** ******** at the time of the complaint.  We sincerely apologize to ***** ******** for any inconvenience caused in this matter but reiterate the Rocky Mountain engaged in no wrongdoing with respect to this matter as they sold the account on November 1, 2021.
