Date of Issue: 8/24/2022 There are two Irish men in a black truck who scammed us. The company they're from they said was Ultra Masonry and Paving. One said his name was ***************************** which I don't think was his real name, the other was *******************************. I have two separate proposals from them for the work. They offered to seal coat our driveway. They said they would fill all the cracks. Then they offered to power wash the patio under our deck and fix our slate steps. They were going to seal the patio they were power washing. I paid them before they actually finished the work. He said he had to get to the bank before they closed. After he got back from the bank they packed up and left. After close inspection of the work, the driveway cracks were not filled in, the power washed patio did not look like it was sealed, and the slate steps were worse than when they started. He had given me an invoice and guaranteed the work, the steps for 7 years, the powerwashing for 3 years and the seal coating for 5 years. When I called them to speak to the guy, he said he'd give him the message. But he never called back and now they aren't answering the phone. I am reporting them to the Better Business Bureau, calling the police to have them keep a look out for them and warning you all to beware. We work so hard to make ends meet and to be scammed like this hurts. People can be so cruel.
