I filed a case with the *** for an employment case and paid a $362.25 filing fee.The arbitration agreement stipulated that the employer is required to pay a $2,000 filing fee after my fee is submitted. The employer refused to pay the fee in breach of contract and therefore the case is said to have closed on April 28th.The case was therefore never filed. Considering that the employer breached contract and the case was never filed I have been requesting a refund for quite some time, but they refuse to answer the question and keep extending the deadline for the case to close. I want a refund.

Date of Transaction: 1/23/2023 Transaction Amount: $646.87- Including Taxes AAA was to provide arbitration services, i paid $625 for filing and arbitrator fees up front in case arbitration was to take place. Arbitration did not take place and no services were provided by AAA and therefore I expected a refund per there policy. They informed me there was a $500 "deficient filing fee" and the cost i paid for arbitration was to be put towards such fees. They did not inform me of such fees nor did i agree to such fees before submitting to their process or sending the money. Rather than have a list of services you select and are charged for like most businesses they have different criteria in PDF docs and you are to assume you are paying the correct amount and send in the amount of money for the services required. I called and asked the company in January and they agreed to the amount for the services i needed. I attempted to contact the company and resolve the issue but they insist i paid the fee without knowing, and are now unresponsive. Case ***************

I emailed AAA after filing a case with them. I didn't hear anything for a long time, then I sent in documents per their requests. My last email was May 18, 2022. They didn't respond until October 27, 2022. They failed to respond in a timely manner and they closed my case without notifying me.

I am in an arbitration dispute with Amazon Logistics, and AAA is tasked with handling the arbitration. Last month, during an arbitration hearing, the arbitrator ordered absolutely no contact between me and the opposing party. The arbitrator told both parties to send all communications to the pro se manager and not have any direct contact. Pro Se Manager 3, who is supposed to be managing the case, failed to attend this hearing. Now, the opposing party is contacting me regularly and when I send communications to Pro Se Manager 3 to forward to the opposing party, she becomes very disrespectful and continues to admonish me for not CCing it myself when that would goes against what the arbitrator ordered. I have requested that a hearing be held with the arbitrator and Pro Se Manager 3 present, and she repeatedly ignores the request and doesn't even acknowledge that she is receiving them.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Business repeatedly violates the terms and conditions that I agreed to, and takes no action for months on end unless I contact the BBB. This is not an acceptable process

In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

      Sincerely,
