      On November 27, 2022 my husband signed on to use the $1 service. He received only one welcome email with no account number and no ability to log in to make any changes. 2 weeks later and every month after that they took $19.99 from our account for a total of $119.94. They never sent ** an invoice, never sent ** another communication and we've never used this service beyond the first trial search. They continued to bill ** without our knowledge. This is a totally corrupt scam operation.

      The account was created on 11/27/22 with our $1.00 7-day trial. Upon further review, it appears we did not receive a request to cancel prior to the end of the trial. In that event, your account was automatically renewed to the monthly subscription of $19.99.
      When signing up for our background reports, the subscription does outline that it will auto-renew until elected to cancel. You can contact ** to cancel at any time, and will not be billed for your next billing cycle.

      Please be assured that your account was canceled and you were issued a refund of $119.94. The refund was processed immediately on our end, however, please note that it may take up to 10 days for the refund to reflect on your bank statement depending on your financial institution.

      We do not know who Bumper LLC is but they have been charging ** $13.44 per month since 03/23/2022. This amount has been small and was overlooked for some time. Our bank has it as a scam and has cancelled my debit card account to get the charges to stop. We did NOT initiate business with this company and apparently been scammed by them somehow. They took ** for $174.72 in total. My bank can provide a printout of all of the bogus charges if needed.We are not sure how to get our money back but someone needs to do something about this company. They have several scams that come up on ****** search and the BBB gives them an F rating so that says a bunch about their charactor.

      Upon further review, it looks like that account was created on 03/22/2022 with our 7 day $1.00 trial. 
      When signing up for our services the terms and conditions in addition to the privacy policy are required to be agreed to prior to signing up. 

      Each customer must agree to these terms before successfully creating the account. 
      This way our customers are fully aware of the charges including the date to cancel the trial. 

      Our subscriptions are not based on usage; they are recurring subscriptions that will continue to renew until a customer cancels as stated in the agreed terms. 
      Our records do not indicate a previous request to cancel the account before the trial ended, in this event the account continued to renew. 

      Please be assured that your account was cancelled and you were issued a refund. 
      Details of the refund have been emailed to the address we have on file.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved.   I am great full this company refunded my money but am still unsure how they received my information as I have never requested their service.   All vehicles that I have purchased have been from a dealer and an auto check has not been needed.  This company should concentrate on a one time fee versus a monthly fee.   It would help them not appear as scammers and would have prevented me from getting scammed for several months.

      I was charged 21 dollars for a service i did not use. I called and the representative told me she could not give me a refund. That she flagged my account as fraudulent transaction but was unable to process my payment. I did not authorize this transaction and i would like my money back.

      I was able to review your account. I do see that when you called the agent was unable to issue you a refund, but they did in fact escalate the issue. You were issued a refund on 05/02/23 in the amount of $21.19. We do apologize it was not refunded in that moment while speaking with the customer service agent.       My husband was looking up parts for a vehicle and it requested a Vin number. I have just found through PayPal that we were billed $19.99 in March and again $19.99 in April. I didnt know what bumper.com was on my statement so I looked it up only to find that we somehow managed to become part of a subscription service to this company. We dont need it, we dont want it. Ive reported it to Paypal. please issue refund for both of those payments and do not continue billing PayPal for a subscription that I didnt know I requested.

Thereafter, on July 19, 2022, per the instructions on the ********** website, I emailed their customer service department, asking them to cancel the account. Today, my wife noticed that we have been billed monthly each month since then. When I attempted to call the number on the website, the automated system is a trap. For about 30 second, I repeatedly pressed "1" in response to the prompt to do so if "you have an account." I ultimately hung up and decided to file this complaint.       I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:  The merchant acknowledged receipt of my email, but it took no further steps.  It obviously knew that I was associated with the account and am the only ***************************** that had any account.  Further, I have no record of receiving there referenced email in which it supposedly requested more information, and they do not submit the email in their response.  Further, I emailed them on April 25, 2023 and likewise received no response.  *******, I doubt any such email was ever sent.  Regardless, I directed them to cancel.  I should not have to repeatedly let them know.  Further, because I intended to use the account for one vehicle, there was no activity on the account since then, which they certainly know.   I am an attorney; please advise them that if this is not resolved to my satisfaction, I do plan on asserting a class action against myself and others similarly situated (which, I now see from your website), there are many. Further, I had to call multiple times to cancel via telephone on Tuesday; the first time I called, I pressed the "1" several times to indicate that I was a "current account holder," and it would not move on from that prompt. -***

      14/March/2023 I recently subscribed to this company's website for a one-dollar fee to view a report on a specific car that I was interested in purchasing.However, to my surprise, the company has been deducting 23 ******** dollars from my credit card account every month without my consent or knowledge. Despite my attempts to cancel my subscription, there is no option for unsubscribe on their website.I believe this is a clear case of a scam, and I would like your help to get my money back and cancel this subscription. I have already contacted the company's customer service, but they have been unresponsive, which is why I am seeking assistance.I hope you can assist me in this matter and help me get a refund for the unauthorized charges that the company has been deducting from my credit card account.       Bumper compagnie is a scam. After you spend a $1 (which I did February 9, 2023) to test out their site/services, I was automatically locked in for monthly $19.99 usd fee. I used this only once and paid $1 one time test and request to be reimbursed for being charged $19.99 usd 3 times so far (feb, March , April 2022) through my Paypal account. Hope to received and answer from you soon!

      I signed up with Bumper, LLC on May 6, 2022 for $1.00. As I was not pleased with them, I contacted them to cancel my account. I assumed that they canceled the account. I just looked at my current Amex monthly statement and learned that they charged me $13.44 on March 17th. I then looked back over the preceding few months and found that I was charged $13.44 on February 17, January, 17, December 17, November 17, October 17, September 17, August 17 and July 18.The total reimbursement that I request is $13.44 x 9 months= $120.96.
