      Signed up for a credit card for the 1-year zero APR offer. Did on the phone with live person. Set-up autopay. Charged close to 30% APR. Contacted company for months getting run around from one department to another. Nothing ever refunded. Billed hundreds of dollars. Never would've signed up for a *** credit card if it weren't for the 0% APR. Also never received rewards dollars back when made returns. Lost hundreds of dollars with this a well. Company gave me the run around. No one knew how to help. Spent hours on the phone and chat and speaking to employees in *** store. Never received money back. Company stole a couple thousand dollars and dozens of hours of my time

      This is my second complaint about Barclays , first and most important I have excellent credit , I know they don’t care but this is my last month using the card , I’m done , awful customer service out of the country . When calling Barclays I only get an off shore out of the country representative, the reason I ask to be transferred to the US representative is due to incorrect information and the time it takes to do any transaction this isn’t just today it’s constant it’s like they are reading from a book . I was called from Barclays they advised just ask for the US , not easy they harass U in their own way when I ask the other day she hung up on me . Today the young man asked me my name several times , last four of social which I didn’t give him , told me he was transferring me at least 3 times I’m done Barclay , I think I understood ***** was his name . Looking at the reviews maybe u should look into your customer service.

      I initiated a balance transfer with Barclay from my ********. Barclay ended up paying off someone's ***** card and threw me to the curb. I know owe ******** and Barclay money. To make things worse, Barclays customer service department has hung up with me so many times. This company is ghetto. Don't sign up for anything with this Barclay.

      This is the 2nd month it took 7 days to clear my payment. The bank took my ?? from my checking account within 24 hrs then took another 6+days to clear pymt to use cards. I almost died of starvation and an eye infection in the ******* in september bc I lost my debit card and couldn't use my cc to buy food or get medical care. Someone will die of starvation and no medical care. Couldn't pay my rent either. I have contacted them multiple times during this frightening experience

      Customer service is a joke. They refuse to provide online access to me to make payments and verify any transactions on my account. They promise a supervisor call back that never comes

      This business is incredibly dishonest. I call in one payment per month and have 2-3 taken out by them. They also do not apply to principal when they take them out, it is fast forwarded to another month. I tried to resolve this, but they denied they did it. It is on my account statements in black and white! Don't use this company!!!!

      This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. My 84 year old mother got charged for a late fee when she mailed in her payment and it was a day late, when I tried to call them and after going thru the automated process, I finally got a person to talk to and they where mean and argumentative. Please do not apply for a card from this company, They will only care about themselves and will mess your credit rating any chance they get. I am concerned because they are linked with AARP and will surely prey on senior citizens, Please take action this company is not right. The whole reason for the BBB is to protect citizens especially seniors which this company seems to pray upon. Please take Action

      Earlier this year I closed my ****** ******** credit card after Barclay's Bank which services credit cards for Gap/****** ********, switched my bills from paper to electronic without asking me. They don't have my email so I wasn't getting electronic bills from them. After three months of not paying a bill that was less than $100, because I didn't know about it, Barclays sent me a letter saying my bill had been unpaid for three months. I got them to reverse the late fees and extra interest but promptly paid off and cancelled the credit card. I just went to open a line of credit for my business but my bank turned me down because of the Barclay's Bank problem. Now one of my subcontractors is not going to be able to pay her rent next week because I can't get a line of credit because Barclay's Bank switched my bills to electronic without telling me.

      I do not recommend this bank. they have bad customer service, when you need help the customer service doesn't help and when you tell them you're going to close the account they don't care. and their English is not understood at all. I need help with my interest rate and they didn't help me
