            We bought a Murphy Bed unit in February of 2019 from Murphy Bed Express. The unit was installed by their installers and initially seemed fine. Following the installation, we did not utilize the bed frequently due to travel and then to Covid (we have been out of town). Recently we have been sleeping on the unit and noticed that it was pulling away from the wall. We contacted the company and sent photos, and they failed to send anyone to repair the bed. On Thursday, September 16th, the bed fell from the wall, exposing the fact that the bed had been screwed into a brick wall with regular construction screws and not special lags or other proper techniques for hanging heavy objects in brick. The company has continued to avoid our calls and says only "our insurance adjuster will be contacting you". It is nearly a week later, and nobody has contacted us and the bed remains as it fell.

            Stay away. Terrible product. Terrible service. Poor installation with crooked handles, chipped veneer, too heavy to use easily and I had to help with installation. When a piston broke 6 months later they asked for photos and then ghosted **. We found an independent repair person to fix it, who said theyve done a lot of work fixing beds from this place and told us the bed was installed with half the number of springs it shouldve had.
