On the afternoon of 10/26/2024 my mother, ******** *******, was transported by Ambulnz from ************** to ********************************************* in *******, ** (less than 1 mile). Her personal belongings which were provided by the hospital to the transport team never arrived at ********************. Both the hospital and ******************** staff confirmed this. I called several numbers for Ambulnz ******************-4******* and ************) on 11/18/24 to ask if they had my mother's personal belongings. These calls were placed after calls to the hospital to confirm that her belongings were sent and to ******************** to confirm they did not receive the items. I was told that a supervisor would return my call. They never did. I called again on 1/7/2025 and was told the same thing: a supervisor would return my call. During both calls, I explained I was interested in the whereabouts of her personal belongings. I still have not received a call. In the bag of personal items were her hearing aids, a sweatshirt, pants, and a cloth transport blanket. She has been without hearing aids since this transport because neither the hospital nor the nursing home will admit liability for the hearing aids. I am my mother's power of attorney and have a right to act on her behalf. This transport service has already been paid for the transport so I have no other way to hold them accountable.Customer Answer

This company sent us a bill for a transport that was due to a medical issue that the hospital arrived could not fulfill. The responsible party for payment would be ******************** unfortunately after the transport and due to insurance billing issues. The company decided to bill us. After many notifications by not only myself, but my insurance billing department requesting to place the account on hold due to the discrepancy and attempt on the insurance billing to clear up issues, Ambulnz sent the bill to collections. However after receiving the collection notice, we contacted the insurance who indicated they had paid the partial amount due to Ambulnz and Ambulnz was responsible to send us a corrected bill amount. We attempt to call Ambulnz M-F during their so called business hours for months, however get a loop back to their ambulance dispatch. We were given the number to HQ, and the number also loops back to dispatch who does not have any other means to connecting with a live billing agent. This is discriminatory unfair practices and borderline (if not illegal) as I am not able to connect with a human to clear or even discuss anything.Initial Complaint

***** was taken from ****************************** in ***********, ** to ********** ************** by Ambulnz on 10/22/2022 at 8:06 PM. Ambulnz was provided ******** Information and se**ndary - ********** Blue Shield of SC for *****. We received an Invoice from Ambulnz dated 10/28/2022 for $868.99. ******* (spouse) **ntacted them and requested they **ntact ******** and Supplemental Carrier for payment. They advised we needed to **ntact ********. BCBS was **ntacted and they advised they would not pursue until ******** acted. ******** advised we would need an EOB from them or a denial letter. Spoke with ****** at Ambulnz on 4/17/23 and she advised they would not send us to **llection for 60 days. We never received anything from ******** so on 6/1/23 we issued/mailed a check to Ambulnz for $868.99, Ac**unt #******, to avoid any **llection notice. We have NEVER been sent to Collection. On 7/11/23 we received from ******** an EOB stating they paid Ambulnz ******** Approved Amount of $230.19 with Maximum we may be billed for $58.72. This creating a refund of $810.27. ******* **ntacted billing ** at ************ and had to leave voicemail messages for supervisor, *****. Once ******* spoke with ***** about issue she advised we must **ntact refund **** at ************. This number is a **mplete phony!! You can't leave messages and they always say there are no available agents in queue. I have called for 3 weeks now approximately 5-6 times a day starting at 8am till 7pm. I have tried **ntacting **rporate office in NY for Ambulnz and phone states you must have a name or extention number! We are in need of help getting our refund. Thank you.Initial Complaint

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Ambulnz Health, LLC regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
The issue needs to be resolved on their end. The claim wasn't denied because of an issue with coverage, it was denied because of an issue of how it was billed.
Ambulnz says that is was called a hand off/intercept because of the medics that were assigned and arrived. 911 was called and an Ambulnz arrived to transport ****** to Hospital. Other than that, I have no control of who shows up after the call to 911 is placed. ******** says their NPI is invalid and needs updating.

I took a ride on an ambulance in February of 2021. The hospital apparently provided the ambulance with outdated information. The ambulance company sent bills to a prior address which I no longer live at. Someone from the ambulance company called my phone and stated I owed $1700. I told the gal on the phone that's impossible because I have health insurance. She said I was being balanced billed for what the insurance company did not cover. Well that was a lie because the ambulance company never billed my insurance company and they were sending invoices to the wrong address. Now I have been sent to collections for a bill I do not owe.Initial Complaint

You guys sent me a **** in December 2020 for $823.90. I have the **** in front of me. I paid the full amount 1/22/21. Now this month July 2022 I am getting a note saying I'm being turned in for collection. I explained that I paid and now I am getting a whole different invoice but for the same ambulance ride. How can you send me one invoice, I pay and then you decide to send me another ****? I'd be happy to send you copies. Its your Ambulnz in ********. Thank you!***************************Customer Answer
