Hi good day, I ordered a package with order number BJ#****** from Betsey Johnson on the 06/07/ 2023 (6th of July). However, it is now the 12th of July and my package shows that it was shipped however, the tracking info indicated that the item is awaiting carrier pickup for a numerous amount of days and the expected delivery date is listed as today. I asked if they could cancel my order due to the package not reaching in time and all the agents I spoke to said that this was not possible and they could not contact the shipping company until a week passed since it shipped out. This company is not very transparent with regards to shipping nor do they seem to care much about the concerns of other customers. I love their items however my wish is to get this order cancelled due to the order not reaching the person that I delivered it to in time. I also requested an alternative solution to ship the package to another address, however, there was no follow up with regards to this. The company has not been helpful with regards to bringing about my cancellation.Business Response

On June 4. 2023, I purchased shoes from this company. On July 10, 2023, I received an email stating the package had been delivered to my lobby at 9:51 pm. There is no record of the package being delivered, no video showing the package being delivered AND the lobby is locked at 9:51 pm so theres no way the package could have been delivered. Betsey Johnson has not acknowledged responsibility nor has honored my request to refund my money since the On Trac delivery driver apparently stole my package and claimed to have delivered it at 9:51 pm to a locked lobby. The On Trac delivery company is also refusing to acknowledge that my package was never delivered to MY address. Both Betsey Johnson and the delivery company are pretty much saying its my loss that the delivery company that Betsey Johnson chose to deliver my package DID NOT get the package to MY home.Business Response

On November 12 I placed an order for Dragonfly earrings. Order number ******. They arrived broken. I ordered another pair plus one for myself. Those orders also were received broken. Order number ****** and Order number ******. Betsey Johnson representative stated they would refund 20% and I could go pay with my own money to have them fixed. I stated no! They items were broken why would I spend more money to repair it. They then sent me a link to fill out for a return- but it was final sale. They make it impossible to return or refund. I want to be refunded they time price plus all shipping cost. They sold a bad product and I should be fully reimbursed.Business Response

We have reached out several times via phone and email but we couldn't contact the customer. Return labels for the defective merchandise were provided and two of the items were sent back and a full refund was issued. We are yet to receive back the third item in order to issue the refund.

I ordered a bag from Betsey Johnson to be shipped to ******. Their shipping policy indicates the cost to ship to ****** is $24.95. They mention that your item will be shipped to a *** ** shipping station in ***********. They indicate you will have to pay tax and duties via *** **. My bag arrived with NO invoice from *** **. It was just left on the porch, so I did not have the option of refusing the delivery once I saw the invoice from *** **. A week after I received the item I received a bill from *** ** for $58.54. This amount included $18.42 in tax, $10 for a disbursement fee, $4.62 HST on service fees and a $25.50 clearance fee. My complaint is that Betsey Johnson was NOT up front with theses fees. THEY charged me GST on the item, then *** ** charged HST on the item. THEN *** ** charged $40.12 in SERVICE FEES which were NOT mentioned by Betsey Johnson at all. Betsey Johnson should be aware that *** ** is charging these service fees to ********* and that ACTUAL shipping costs are $24.95 PLUS $58.54 charged by *** **. Had I known it was going to cost $83.49 to ship a $106 bag to ****** I would NOT have ordered it. Betsey Johnson needs to be upfront regarding the fees *** ** charges and reimburse me the $40.12 the fees that *** ** charged me. I did not agree to pay service fees to *** **, I agreed to pay tax and duty. NO duty was charge and the tax was $18.42. I should not be responsible for paying the $40.12 in service fees that are NOT indicated on the Betsey Johnson shipping information provided to customers. I have been in contact with Betsey Johnson and requested that they reimburse me for the *** ** fees that are NOT mentioned in their shipping information provided to customers. They have refused to do so. I would like reimbursement for these fees and I would also like Betsey Johnson to update their shipping information to advise ********* of the additional fees charged by *** **.Business Response

The shipping fee and the ******** ***** custom duties and taxes are 2 different things. The shipping fee $24.95 is charged by Betsey Johnson but the custom duties and taxes and invoiced by ***** and Betsey Johnson is not responsible of those.
This is also stated on betseyjohnson.com under shipping policy: ******************************************************** ''Your order will ship via *****/Airterra from our facilities to our international shipping station in *********** where the merchandise will be inspected and then reshipped out to you via ***************************** or ************* *************** Please allow 1-2 weeks for delivery. PLEASE NOTE: you will have to pay custom duties and taxes on the items you purchase and that these local fees are not included in your Betsey Johnson invoice.''

I am disputing additional FEES charged by ************ ***** essentially charged SHIPPING FEES to ship the item from their depot to my home. These are additional SHIPPING FEES, NOT Taxes and Duties as stated in the Betsey Johnson response. These additional fees should be reimbursed because I did not agree to pay additional shipping fees to ************

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:The representative agreed to refund the excess charges from *** **, but to date I have not received the refund. The credit card I used to purchase the product in question was replaced due to fraudulent activity. I advised Betsey Johnson of that fact, but they said they could not use my new credit card information. We were hoping if they processed the refund via my old card # that the bank would process it on my new card. This has not happened. To date I do not have a refund as agreed upon.

I purchased a pair of shoes. I wore them 4 or 5 times and they have started to come apart. I reached out to Betsey Johnson and they said because it had been longer than 60 days since I purchased they would not return or replace them. I sent pictures to show how little I had worn them. I ordered a dress from ***** Johnson. It was too small so I ordered the same dress in a bigger size. When I went to Fed ex the small dress back they said it was a final sale and couldnt be returned. I said I didnt know that and ordered it a bigger size. Meanwhile Ive been charged $50 each for 2 dresses I cant return. No one will help me. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income.
