      I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding my inability to use $300 worth of gift cards to Intermix due to the companys restructuring in March 2023. The predecessor company failed to provide any notice to gift card holders that such a restructuring would take place, nor did it inform customers that gift cards or store credit would no longer be honored following this change.I received these gift cards in January 2023 purchased in good faith with the expectation that they would be redeemable for merchandise at Intermix. However, upon attempting to use them, I was informed that the gift cards were no longer valid due to corporate restructuring. At no point was I notified of this change, nor was any alternative resolution offered by Intermix or its successor entity.I have attempted to contact Intermix's customer service department and was advised of the above on 02/07/2025 after repeated requests for information. The e-mail received on 02/07/2025 provided no equitable solution to me.This situation is unfair and deceptive, as customers who purchased or were gifted these cards have effectively lost their funds with no recourse. Companies should be required to honor outstanding gift cards or at the very least provide adequate notice and an opportunity for consumers to use their balances before such a policy change takes effect.I am requesting that Intermix or its successor entity either:Reinstate the full $300 balance on my gift cards so that I may use them as originally intended, OR Provide a full refund of $300 for the unusable gift cards.I urge the BBB to investigate this matter and encourage Intermix to resolve this issue for affected customers. I appreciate your attention to this complaint and look forward to your assistance in seeking a fair resolution.

      I have a gift card for $1000 for Intermix. Then the business owner changed and they won't honor anything prior, please see the message from them below. Due to a transition in the Intermix business, all full-priced items purchased before Monday, March 27, 2023, are not eligible for a refund to the original form of payment. A claims process has been established to handle customer refunds and gift card credits. If you haven't already done so, you can start the claim process digitally with this link: (***********************************).       I have a gift card to the company and according to California law they do not expire - the company has refused to honor the card because they changed their system and now refuses to acknowledge any attempt to contact or communicate.

      I have a gift card that is not being honored by the business. I was told I cannot use it because the business was acquired in 2023 and the new owners refuse to honor any gift cards that were issued prior to that date. There was NO prior warning of any kind (verbal/written) to customers that gift cards would expire, and no warning written on the card itself.

      Purchased $1k gift card for Christmas present for daughter in Dec 22.She tried to use it in Summer 23' and was told she could not. Message in red at top of website when you go to check out that any giftcards bought prior to March 27 , 2023 are no longer valid. Tried calling customer service multiple times in 2023 to no avail. Girls answering phone didn't have info. Finally reached someone who told me to email ************************************************* Said Intermix was bought so GC's not valid. I filled out claim form, heard nothing. EMailed twice and called again in late 23 and early 24'. Just called **************** now at ******************** ( 5/29/24)and *** said that the company who we filed claims with is not sharing any info. We just need to wait. What a scam. Intermix has lost all credibility with me and others we know who are affected. They should be ashamed.

      Intermix requested 40 days to process a return received on September 2nd. It is now more than the 40 days specified and my money has not been returned. Upon calling they requested ***** more days to process the return claiming technical issues that would prevent the return being processed sooner. The agent hung up on me after I insisted to speak with a manager, they claim it will take up to 72 hours to receive a callback from their management team. I just want my money teturn for the goods they have had in their possession since September 2nd

      I purchased a dress from Intermix on May 10th, 2023 for $432.28. When I received the dress, it had a hole in it. I reached out to Intermix who helped facilitate the return for me. I sent back the item for order # *************. I reached out as I hadn't received a refund within a few weeks. They then told me it took 40 days to process the refund. After 40 days with nothing hitting my account, I reached back out and they said they are having technical issues and that's why they haven't sent the money. Every week, I reach out and they give another excuse. It has been MONTHS since I sent back the item. Please help.

      I am filing a complaint because I have two gift cards from Intermix that hold a total value of $2,000 and Intermix is no longer accepting them on their website. When I reached out to Intermix to resolve the issue they referred me to reach out to the claims department via email. I have not heard back after countless email's sent. I would like the company to either write a check for the amount of the gift cards, or provide new gift cards/a store credit that can be used. It is unethical and unfair that the company is stealing money from its customers.

      I have a gift card with $1000 on it that cannot be spent in the store or online. No warning was ***** out by the previous owners of the company.

      I have two gift-cards (that are not suppose to expire ever) issued by ********* the sales person at ********************* Intermix store, but they don't accept it as of yesterday. I would like my $1400 money back.
