    Almost zero benefits that aren't behind the payroll, will continue to try and charge you months after the fact with no warning after you canceled their free trial

    Thank you for sharing your concerns, Mr. ***** Wed like to provide some clarity regarding your experience with ************************** joined FoundersCard through a special offer for a complimentary Membership, designed to let you explore hundreds of benefits at no cost before deciding whether to continue with a paid Membership. Premium benefits are unlocked with a paid Membership, providing maximum value to those who choose to continue.Our records show that on October 19th, you visited the cancellation page in your account but did not complete the cancellation process. Instead, it appears you navigated back to explore other Membership benefits. When you applied for Membership, and in the confirmation email sent to you, we clearly outlined that your account would be charged at the end of the complimentary trial period unless canceled online or by contacting us.During the trial, we sent emails about how to maximize your Membership and access available benefits. At the conclusion of your complimentary trial, our system attempted to charge the card on file for full Membership. However, we can confirm that this charge was declined, and no payment was processed. You successfully canceled your account online on the same day.We appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns and are always open to feedback on how we can improve the Member experience.     All they want you to do is sign up and take your money without really giving you the opportunity to see the benefits. I feel like theyre almost a scam.

    Dear Mr ******** We're disappointed to hear this feedback. It looks like you canceled your free trial Membership the day after you had activated it. We wish you would have allowed yourself more time to explore the site and the benefits that you had access to for free as you would have found over 150 benefits that you could redeem before paying anything. The offer you were given while activating was the opportunity to upgrade to a higher tier of Membership which gave you access to some premium benefits that aren't available on the free trial. If you ever want to explore Membership in the future, we'd be happy to explain the different tiers and see what would be best for you.

    Predators preying on small businesses must be publicly condemned, and Founders Card tops the list. Warning to all small businesses who sign up and pay hundreds of dollars- All Benefits are subject to change, at any time, and zero notice will be given to you. You will get no communication that the promised benefit has been removed, and they will attempt to compensate you with nothing. We were members for 4 years, and kept it for the Caesars Diamond status which gives free resort fees ($30+ per night) and free parking ($40-$60 a night). We arrived for our stay on February 10th and found out from the hotel that the benefit with founders card was cancelled 10 days prior. The booking was only made with the expectation that the $80 total per night for parking and resort fees would be comped- without that we would have stayed elsewhere. Founderscard negelected to email anyone about the change, and when I called them, I received disastrous customer service from the person answering (who laughed at me) as well her supervisor, both of whom took zero responsibility. I was told it was ny job to regularly check the benefits or to call and double check for any benefit I want to use. What kind of a card charges hundreds per year and then expects you will call to double check before using it? A scam, and a predator, thats who. Preying on the very small businesses they market to and claim to help. These people are sick. Truly sick. We cancelled our membership and filed a fraud chargeback with **** over the issue, but are still out the hundreds in these unexpected fees at the hotel. I would never want this to happen to another small business. Do not trust that a single advertised benefit actually exists, or that if it exists today that it will still be there tomorrow. Founders Card is a disgrace who does not deserve $1 from the small businesses who make this country the great place it is.

    Dear Mr ****** we are very sorry to see this negative feedback. You have been a Member of ours since 2021 with no previous issues or complaints. We have worked tirelessly over the past 16 years to build an amazing benefits platform offering exclusive benefits and privileges to our Members, many of which you've taken advantage of seamlessly. Since we work with hundreds of partners, we do disclose that benefits can be subject to change, although incredibly rare, and in this case this benefit had been in place for over 10 years and came to an end. It was also replaced on that same day.We had communicated on our website that this benefit was going to end on January 31, 2025. You contacted us in February 2025 for a refund from your renewal charge in July 2024, which is just not something we can accomodate. You have been enrolled and reaped the benefits of not only this particular offer, but many others between July and now and you are paying for access to our entire platform, not just one benefit.We are very sorry that you incurred unexpected fees as a result of this change. Both your loyalty account and our website have clearly listed the expiration date as January 31, but we are sorry you missed that. We did our best to assist you, and we are sorry to see you.     This business is a scam. They charged me $395 renewal fee I did not agree to

    This customer applied for Membership last year for a 1 year complimentary trial followed by a $395 annual rate. This was listed on their application and in the application submission confirmation email we sent them last year on January 11, 2024. He would have been able to cancel his account online any time before the charge, or up to 30 days after the charge. We also sent him an email December 12th with the subject "Your Upcoming Renewal" reminding him of the charge date and amount, and then after the charge sent him a copy of the receipt on January 11, 2025. Members can request a refund in their account online up to 30 days after the trial renews, but this customer had not signed in to do that, or emailed or called us to cancel. However of course we can still help since we are within the terms for a refund. The $395 charge has been refunded and his FoundersCard account has been closed. We have emailed the customer a copy of the refund receipt so we hope this resolves their concern.

    I signed up for FoundersCard back in 2022. Had an okay experience. Most of the benefits they advertise are not real and those companies they claim as partners do not honor the benefits nor know anything about FoundersCard. I mainly signed up for the Stripe benefit. After sign up, they changed the language for Stripe to only be a one-tim benefit not to be made available if you renew. I attempted to use other benefits such as a stay at Atlantis in the Bahamas through ******* Rewards. ******* was not aware and would not respond further. FoundersCard customer service is not helpful. After 2023, I sent multiple emails to make it clear I was not renewing. They had my account set to auto renew. Although I had it in writing, they renewed me and would not refund me for 2024. I was charged $995 and nothing worked for 2024. I reached out to ensure I would not be renewed again. After I cancelled a 3rd time, they now are trying to "solve any issues" I previously had. However, they do not answer any direct questions about benefits now or in the past. I now get daily emails asking me to re-join for $295. They falsly identity Stripe and other benefits as ones I would be able to access if I re-join. Again, not true. I either want my $995 for 2024 refunded or the benefits I paid for honored for 2025. Save your money. Get a rewards credit card. Better service and support.

    We are very sorry to hear this feedback. First, we do not promote any benefits that are not valid. The benefit that was referenced as a "one-time use" benefit has always been clearly noted as a benefit that could only be applied once. We informed the customer of this and he specifically said he did not notice these terms. This is not something we can change. The other benefit mentioned also clearly explained what was included in it, and the trip he is referencing never has been part of it. This customer took advantage of many other offers of ours that are not mentioned here. Regarding canceling the Membership- this customer renewed his Membership in November 2023 and did not notify us of his wish to cancel until March 2024, which is beyond our refund eligibility window, but we scheduled his account to cancel at the end of that term so he was not charged. We have had multiple emails back and forth with this customer explaining the terms of a specific benefit, but this review claims we are not addressing specific questions. We have contacted the customer directly to address each of his points in a more specific manner.

    I paid for the Elite Membership with FoundersCard, expecting to redeem the benefits promised, but it's been an absolute nightmare. Despite reaching out to their customer service for seven months continuously, I still haven't been able to access any of the benefits!Every time I contact them, they give me the runaround, claiming they're "trying to resolve the issue," but clearly, they have no clue what they're doing. It's shocking how unprofessional and incompetent they are.Not only do they seem unaware of basic legal terms, but they also don't even understand that a company is the customer, not just the representative of the company. It feels like they're more interested in scamming their members than providing any real value. Save yourself the time, money, and frustrationFoundersCard is a total scam!

    We're very sorry to see this feedback. We see that this customer joined in April 2024 and has redeemed multiple valuable benefits. They contacted us about an issue with one particular benefit for the first time in September and we tried to work with them on some troubleshooting steps, however it turns out their account is not eligible for the offer per the terms with this partner. We understand they are disappointed by this but these terms are visible on our website and we do not have a way to change them. We hope they continue to enjoy the other 500+ benefits they still have access to including the ones they’ve already redeemed, and we’re sorry this one didn’t work out for them.

    The offers or savings are generally available with many other cards or programs. I did not find anything unique for real savings and I was not going to invest in their ELITE program.They make it exceptionally difficult to cancel your free trial so you don't get charged their annual fee. I have seen reports of numerous consumers who couldn't get refunds of their fees if not cancelled in time . By making it difficult to cancel it provides the appearance that you would get frustrated, give up and forget to come back to try again. Once they charge your card there is NO refund.AVOID

    I want to score below 1 but it will not allow. I have found Founders Card LLC to only be interested in taking money and have no idea of customer service or delivery. They are a complete scam. There is no facility on the site to cancel or remove your payment details, for that reason alone do not buy into it. The emails are polite and business-like like but they have no idea of customer service - the offers are mostly inaccessible, certainly exclusive, but almost to the point of pointless. Don't be conned into believing they will help - they are just taking money.

    We're sorry to hear of this Member's feedback about benefits and their experience with us. They had applied for Membership which had a renewal charge in November 2023, and we sent an email to them 4 weeks prior to the renewal to remind them of the upcoming charge. The email included instructions on how to cancel, and they could have canceled in their account online any time during the year before the charge, but we did not receive any replies to the email and the account was not closed online, so the charge was processed. The Member contacted us more than 4 months after the charge asking for a refund, but at that point we were not able to provide the refund per our Terms of Service. Their account is set to close at the end of their term so they will not be charged again, but they are welcome to redeem benefits in their account until then.

    My membership began as of 03/04. It is now 03/13. After looking at everything, I realized it was not of value to me. Totally understood that I would not be provided a refund. I reached out to cancel my membership for the following year to ensure that I would not be charged next year. I was informed that the only option I have is to cancel now. As in, I would not receive a refund AND I will have paid the full cost of the membership for only 2 weeks of use. I now have to wait until closer to renewal for next year in order to cancel the membership. it's ridiculous that I have to wait a year before I can cancel my membership. This is a terrible way to conduct business. Based on the reviews below, there is also a strong possibility I will struggle to actually cancel as I get close to the membership end date.
