Hi, I purchased an item from the company Eaglemoss *** which sells collectible/diecast items. The item I purchased cost $79.99 and I bought via PayPal on May 8th 2022. The item was on backorder so I waited a few months with no update from the company. Then I found out recently that the company went out of business near the end of last year which is why I never received any communication from them regarding my order. I contacted PayPal and they said they can not refund the money because it is out of their "180 day" window and suggested I contact the bank. I contacted **** of America and they said they couldn't refund because the company filed for administration and the funds are with the company. BOA suggest I contact BBB to resolve the matter. How can I get a refund for my item? How can this company be held accountable for taking funds and disappearing? Attaching receipt with info. Please help.Customer response

At this time, I have not been contacted by Eaglemoss Collectibles regarding complaint ID ********.As I mentioned in my original message the company went out of business. I contacted BBB to investigate if there is someone existing from the company to refund my money.

Incomplete model, the company went bust before I got the chance to complete the model.I have signed up for a Eaglemoss Gone in 60 Seconds ******* model, 42-49/month subscription, gone up to issue 66 out of 110+ and the company went bust. No I am left with a worthless incomplete model, 700+ spent and no way to finish it. I want my money back.Customer response

I've been paying for an ******* kit for more than a year Account # ************ . On July they disappeared, the emails don't work and I stopped receiving kits, so now I have spent over 600 dollars and I don't even have the chassis of the car so all this parts are useless. I want either all the parts sent ASAP and I pay for them or I just want my money back.Initial Complaint

My order below Order*************** was made on April 26, 2022, but was never received. Eaglemoss sent an email informing an order in December 2021 would be delayed. The shipping tracking email for the first order (Order #**************) that was received informed of delays in shipping due to covid. The second order (Order***************) shows order is being processed according to tracking website, but has not been received. When I called in May/June for an update, was told to be patient due to delays due to covid. Have been trying to reach their customer service email and phone number again which does not work anymore despite the website being operational. The company never advise its customers it was going bankrupt. I was only able to find out just now through Star Trek fan and other similar websites that they intended to file for bankruptcy. They need to return the money to customers whose orders were not fulfilled. This includes the payment of CA$185.62 that has been charged for the order that I have not receivedCustomer response

I have paid Eaglemoss Collectibles for a ********************** die cast model. The order is incomplete and have been waiting over 6 months for the next shipment. To date I have not received anything nor aby replies to my emails. I want to request a full refund and return of everything they have sent as this order is incomplete and useless.*******Customer response

I been paying Eaglemoss company almost a year now on a Ghostbusters echo 1 build up model kit. The cost for each month is $65 dollars (including shipping) for four kits per month and I got up to kits *****. I spent $455 dollars on it so far and I heard they file for bankruptcy. Haven't heard from them over 3 months now and I got a product that I can't do nothing with. I just want all my money cause they should have all the kits I stock or contact me. Eaglemoss sold subscriptions to a kit that requires at least 20 shipments by mail.Charging an estimated $50 USD per shipment. All shipments are required to complete the item. The individual parts are useless unless all shipments are received. I contend that Eaglemoss sold subscriptions with no intent to ever complete all shipments, Selling off junk parts and encouraging new subscriptions in a Ponzi scheme. I am asking for a refund of the hundreds of dollars spent.Thousands of people are victims of this scheme. I just want my hundreds of dollars back for something that is completely useless. My first monthly subscription was sent in April 2021. The last 2021 appears to be in September 2021, then I got one shipment in February 2022.I have not had any shipments after that in 2022. When contacted Eaglemoss would say that they did not know when shipments would resume.Eaglemoss never included the amount being charged in their shipment notifications, I would have to go back a research credit card charges to confirm how much precisely they charged in total.
