    They charged me $94.85 that I was unaware of I checked the filing of my taxes constantly to see if there was a fee . They advertises free tax services it's a lie because I had ta dependent they were going to charge me a fee of $39 or something . They do not even offer a $95 fee anywhere so I'm sure they charge me for two different things , either way I didn't agree to these charges second of all I don't appreciate being lied to and stolen from.. why would I use your services when there's so many other services that are free that's stupid and wasteful .. everything so expensive now why would I throw away $100 on something that could happen free this was my money I paid it in taxes to the government to get back from the government instead I am being robbed by some online website based out of ******** that never once showed me a receipt of the taxes I was filing I kept looking everywhere I thought they would send me something nothing I have enclosed pictures of their website everything they offer and none of it says anything about me being charged $94.15 . I am extremely upset I make $20 an hour and apparently I got to give them 5 of my hours because I use their website ridiculous I will not stop complaining about this company .. I know it's just a little bit of money but to me it was a lot . It was the fact that they decieved me and they were sneak thieves about it.. I looked constantly on their website I kept trying to find how much am I being in charge nothing I even tried to contact them nothing.. never use these people again and i am in the process of contacting them .. they are either closed or too busy to help answer why or what they charged me .. sincerely angry and not sure what I can do ..they know this and do this on purpose I'm sure of it ..

    Account was created accidentally on etax.com when searching for direct file to IRS. After three phone calls to their only mode of communication (TERRIBLE Phone Support: **************) and asking for all my information, including account to be expunged from their system. I was (1) hung up on after asking for my last 4 of social security number claiming that it'll be done, (2) disconnected by someone who was looking me up in the system to delete me, (3) told that they have deleted me from the system, which was a lie since i was still able to sign into the account, and told they have no obligation to send me written verification of my information being deleted. This is a violation of their Privacy Policy (***********************************************) which clearly states customers have a right to request deletion. I need verification that I'm completely expunged from their system and they should be reported for the terrible customer service. I'm scared to think what would happen for those who actually need support from their service. They should be run out of business for such terrible customer experience.

    Another bait and switch complaint for ********* I saw the website and it said *** and free. I thought that was the best website to use. I answered all the questions, input my tax information, and saw it was etax.com and there was a $29.95 fee for filing. So much for being *** affiliated and free!!!!

    ETAX is a SCAM. There was a BAIT AND SWITCH OFFER Here is the offer I ********************************************************************************************** ******************************** * ***** * *********************** ****** **** ******* *** ******* ******** ****** **** ******* *** ******* *** **** ** ****** **** ******* *** **** ******** ****** *** *********** **** **** *********** _____________________________________________________________________________I completed the form and answered all questions. There was a lot of effort to locate 1099- forms and add information. I normally use Turbo Tax which costs me $59.99, and does all the work for you, but since this was free I thought I could save some money.But when I went to file with the *** i found I was in ETAX PLUS, and I had to pay ***** to file.I was surprised, but since I had done all this work I did not want to go through it again.This was definetely a deceptive practice, and I want my mony back!

    A partial refund of only $12.00 was provided by Etax.  When I see free on the Etax ad that means it should be free.  The charge on my credit card from Etax was $49.95 for something called Eplus.  I did not ask for Eplus service.  I could not file my tax return without using Eplus from Etax.  This is a continuation of the Etax scam.

    This morning, 4/19/2024,  I received a full refund of $49.95 from E*******.

    It may have been a delay in bank transfers that caused me to believe I had not gotten a refund earlier.

    I was under the impression that etax filed my tax form for free but then I was charged $59.90 for this simple service. I thought I was giving my credit card information to pay the *** and the ***********.

    This was supposed to be a free servicing your tax return for the *** site and this was not free, I was charged a deposit fee and a processing fee for my TAX return for 2022. I found them through the *** website, this is a scam. It was not right.

    I filed my 2022 taxes with ******** and their site said filing for free. When I received my refund, $95 had been taken out of it by ********. I called and they said it was a fee for direct deposit even though their site said filing was free. It was completely fraudulent but they refused to refund me.

    I filed my 2022 tax through eTax **** At the end of filing I was asked if I agreed to pay $25 for their service. I agreed.Today I see that a refund from IRS had been deposited to my savings account. The amount I expected was $3083 minus the $25 fee I had agreed to. The amount of the deposit was $2988.15. I called eTax to question this. They explained fee for direct deposit. I was not told there was this fee. My phone call only made me more angry.I feel they misrepresented their fees and refuse to comply.Thank you,*******************************
