For over 50 days I have been attempting to get pay amounts due to the creditors. I simply need the payoff for the creditors without additional fees and they are unable to provide it. They have provided debt settlement agreements, payments made, payments that are scheduled but are unable to add the amounts of the payments due to get a balance which my financial institution requires.I need payoff amounts for AMEX, Discover and Upgrade.I finally gave the escalation team a cut off of providing the documents to me by 2:30 pm PT on 8/9/24 or I would a complaint.

I was working with National Debt Relief. Also, Through the debt relief program, we were using **************************** They were supposed to pay off a creditor of mine, Capital 1. The payoff amount, $1872, was withdrawn from my personal bank account, it was paid to Capital 1. This happened in Dec 2022. Capital 1 confirms the payoff was made, but, then was withdrawn. I never authorized nor was informed of this withdrawal. I just discovered this yesterday 7-31-24. Neither National Debt Relief nor Global Client Solutions will discuss this transaction with me. Global Client Solutions informed me they are sending me a transaction history.

Our client requested to cancel on 12/7/22 and this was processed on that same date. As a result the final payment on a settlement with ************ which was scheduled for 12/12/22 was not made. NDR does not continue to to send creditor payment once clients cancel the program.

Debt relief program that I paid over 4k in and they only paid ******* out to creditors and said nothing about keeping payments for themselves instead of paying creditors. Was told they take a portion of each payment as their fees, no hidden fees, apparently there are over 3K in hidden fees.

I signed up for a program with NDR 2 days ago. I have since reviewed my finances in more detail and I cannot afford it. I have spoken to FIVE people now and they still won't cancel the agreement. I don't want to talk to people trying to convince me to stay in a plan I cannot afford. Please cancel the agreement. I will be contacting my back to block NDR from taking money out of my account. Thank you.

Today I saw that NDR took 770 dollars out of my account with no explanation. Two separate payments of 210 and 560. Apparently I was told back in december during the settlement that eventually I would have to pay 560 towards this . I dont remember this, but I do remember conveying through the months that I was only able to give a certain amount due to my job pay and other expenses such as student loans. I was told that the loan was settled and paid off back in late April. to my frustration i asked why in God's name did they take 770 out of my banking account leaving a negative balance when i have other expenses. I was told I would get a follow up either on the 11th or the 12th with some sort of (not a granted refund). So far it has been a good experience with them until it comes down to things like this where it seems like they move in smoke and mirrors with my money.

The organization stated they would contact all my debt and negotiate on 11/2023. I have been paying biweekly payments, and I was still served lawsuits from creditors starting in 7/2024.Now the organization is stating I have to pay more to get out of the legal issue. The organization takes advantage of individuals suffering from credit card debt. Please stop these kinds of organizations that lie and get individuals in more debt and law suits even when they are enrolled in the program.

I paid this company $156 twice a month for I believe 10 months it came up to almost $***** that this debt relief company had taken from me and when they were explaining the fees they said out of that 156 it was like 14 to 19 dollars that wouldn't go towards my creditors but you know most of it would and when I looked at it yesterday or the day before it said that they had taken almost ***** from me and yet my creditors had only been paid $800. This not only ****** me off but just blew my mind that that could happen so I called them up and and asked if those numbers were correct they said yes and I asked them to remove me from their program right away I had to talk to you five different people because you cannot just leave their program you have to talk to 16 different people but all are trying to talk you out of it and are trying to justify the thieving that they are doing there is no reason why they deserve $2,400 while my creditors and the people I actually owe only get $800 that was never agreed to by me and as far as I'm concerned they are just thieves taking that money and using for themselves or whatever else they're doing they said they'll give me a review of my account and I told them whatever you want to do is fine just take me out of your program and never never take another dollar from me again cuz you are not allowed to I do not give you permission to touch another cent of mine and I'm calling the Better Business Bureau and when I said Better Business Bureau they transferred me to like three different people and I had to wait on the phone for another 15 minutes so I could talk to you someone, a specialist because I had said the words Better Business Bureau so I had to talk to someone special. I am just ****** off I would like as much my $2,400 back cuz they didn't do any of the things they said they were going to do especially stick with the fees that I agreed to. Any help you could give me in getting the money back they stole would be great!

    Dear BBB,

This email is to provide an update to complaint #********.

Our client success team spoke with ****************** to address his concerns.  After reviewing the account, we were able to approve a refund a percentage of fees based on how many settlement payments were left after cancelling.  Unfortunately, despite the refund ****************** is still unhappy with our fee structure.  We do not have any hidden fees and a clear breakdown of the fee structure is provided both verbally and in writing at enrollment (clients can find that in their signed debt relief agreement).  Being a debt settlement company, we collect a settlement fee when a settlement is reached and first payment is made.

We do thank him for giving us the opportunity to address his concerns and wish we could have reached a resolution that he finds satisfactory.

    Sincerely,

    National Debt Relief

I have signed up for this program in December 2022, with 24 accounts to be settle, so far, I have paid $15560 which has been distributed as follows ($8,755.38) just for fees and only $6,804.62 has been paid to my creditors, they state they charged 25% supposed to be from the original balance. All my credit cards are now either charge off or collections, this isn't a program to help the customer since they don't even focus on request a pay to delete letter or some sort of arrangement in helping the credit report porting to improve. It is so sad that I am been trying to buy a house and this program didn't help me instead s**** me all of the way. I only signed due to be impacted from Hurricane ***, so my cars got flooded, which isn't nobody faults other that mother nature
