  Alert: ************ is definitely a scam. They keep my money with them and didnt solve the debt I have with the credit card company. Im trying to talk to them but nobody answers email or phone calls. Im desperate bc this money is the only one I have to pay my creditors. Literally they stole my money. This kind of company should be illegal in ***. They cause a lot of damage in our lives.

  If I could give this company a different shape or no star to show the laziness. No one calls you back when they are wrong and get caught doing wrong. No updates as to whats happening with your account. I been with this company for years and all they did was put me more in debt. They first sold me an idea that was recorded for everyone to hear. Then I recorded them telling me lies about paying accounts and working on settling. Im years in and they are still trying to settle accounts. They claim they settled one but the bank told me there was no settlement and they havent received a $1. The bank is still on my credit report and more interest occurred and compounding. Messing up my credit report more. They give an idea that they will help and wont put me in any other debt. But instead they had lied, never called or send a letter to confirm actions taken. *** tried to make me take out a loan to pay off the debt. And for getting a loan to payoff credit card would add an extra *****fee to my debt. Something I could have worked out with the banks when I wasnt in red. They put me more in debt and caused my credit score to plummet. Ive been treated poorly and I would never trust this company not even with there own family. It ***** to know Im being left out and treated poorly.

  We regret that this client feels that they have not received service they were expecting. We have successfully settled all of the clients enrolled accounts and they are in payment arrangements. It often takes time to see an improvement to the creditor score. What we have found is that once the settlement plans are completed then this can accelerate of the credit score.   they wont refund money or cancel me out of program. they give you a song and dance. I have called and called and they put you on hold and then tell you iam holding up the line. These people are thieves. they dont give you any info and just tell you we sent letters to your CC companies but cant sent or show you proof. They tell you we collect money for 6 months and clients should be ready to be paid. *** now going on 9 months

  I am happy with the help I have received from Citizens Debt Relief. They are professional and friendly when I speak with them on the phone. I owed over $7,000 on my ******* account and they negotiated my balance down to just over $3,000.

  This is just another company out to make money, with a slick sales staff. Usually I vett companies more before using, and unfortunately I didn't with Citizens debt relief because of being in a stressful and overwhelming situation. I asked a lot of questions about how their co. works and was lied to, and when I called it into questions was told "look at the contract you signed." They are *maybe* a good option for someone who *already* has a poor credit score due to late/delinquent payments etc, to reduce what you owe. DO NOT use this program if you think you'd like to pay less on *one* account. DO NOT use if you rely on, or need to use any credit lines that you are in good standing with, have to rent an apartment, buy a car soon. YOUR CREDIT SCORE WILL BE SERIOUSLY IMPACTED. I had an excellent credit score, and was LIED to by salesman saying that using their program, my credit score would "dip down a bit" for a "few months." I only chose to enroll one of my creditors in their program, and it has been almost a year of having a TANKED credit score in the low 600's. As a result, all my other creditors that I was in *completely good standing with, some for over 20 years* (albeit having higher balances than I would like, but still payments were on time) a) CUT my credit lines to almost nothing which made it look like all my cards were maxed out, thus making my credit score WORSE and b) and raised my APR's. Then when trying to get on the phone with someone at Citizens it is nearly impossible, it always goes to voicemail; their customer service phone # and email on their website DOES NOT match what Reliant's (their payment processor) statements say. Citizens doesn't send you a statement saying how much money of yours they have, and where they are at with paying off your card. They say you can "un-enroll" at any time, but how can you do that if no one answers the phone or emails? At this point, I am worried that they have just stolen my money.

  I just want to cancel. I've called a few times, no one answers. I sent an email stating that I wanted to cancel. They stopped collecting, but i haven't received any of my funds back. I called again today and they said I would have to wait for someone to call me back in ***** hrs to cancel. I checked my statements and I have over 2k in unused funds that they haven't paid out to my creditors. I would just like my funds returned to me.
