    I attempted to pay for a vimeo video on March 29, 2024. The payment took my credit card, but I did not have access to the video without it charging my card again. Even then, I did not have access to the video. Under the assumption that it was perhaps my credit card, I tried it through ******. I was charged twice and still was not given access to the videos. When I attempted to contact them, they have given me the run around for the past week. Frankly, I'm over it. It looks like I was only given one refund back on April 1st, but that does not cover the entire amount that I spend that day due to their UI being down.

    I have spent years uploading many videos to Vimeo's video hosting service for use in my healthcare education business. Over the last 2 weeks, multiple customers are reporting an error message: "Sorry Because of its privacy settings, this video cannot be played here." I have not changed the privacy settings but have verified by logging into customer accounts that embedded videos can no longer be viewed without making them "public." This is reducing sales and damaging consumer confidence and reputation regarding the reliability of my business, and also threatening part-time employment. I need a fix ASAP, but Vimeo has been unresponsive to multiple support ticket requests.

    - December 2024 - Videos that I have on Vimeo *** were sold through their platform. - $268.98 - Vimeo stated that our payment could not be transferred to our account because the Bank Account Information could not be verified/was not valid. This was never an issue before. Information was re-entered into their system several times, would show as "confirmed/verified". Then a week or so later we received an email stating that the bank transfer was not successful.- We have communicated with their representatives, which was then escalated. Transfers occur without issue for many other companies. Only Vimeo is stating that information is invalid/not working.- We asked that they send us a check instead, which they stated was not possible.- Again we re-entered the information into their system on 3/19 and requested it be run once more. They have not run it despite being asked again on 3/20 as well.

    Vimeo offers a "free trial" to their online software but does not allow users to cancel their free trial to avoid being charged. I have emails 3-4 days in advance of my free trial ending and thus initiating a service contract. I contacted Vimeo support and they continuously gave me the run around and said they are working with their "dev team." I have at least 5-10 emails prior to my free trial ending requesting they cancel my free trial as I have decided their software is not what I was looking for. Upon searching further, it appears that countless others have experienced the same issue. It is quite clearly an intentional behavior to prevent free trials / current customers from cancelling their services so they can bill them. This is a disgusting business practice and the company should be fined at the very least. Shocking to me that this has not been brought into the legal system yet.

    Apparently a free trial started 10/9/20. I did not ok this trial and a subscription was NOT purchased or authorized. Then without any notification, approval or request, my Amex credit card was charged ***** on 11/8/20 and went undetected what it was for. An audit was just performed who picked up on this recurring charge again ***** on 11/7/21, ***** on 11/7/22, ***** on 11/8/23 and again ***** on 11/8/24. Total sum is ****** in unauthorized charges. Vimeo can see that I have no usage or storage or downloads of any videos. This unauthorized account has had NO use at all. All usage and storage is zero and no activity supporting this account was unknown to me. I reached out to Vimeo requesting a refund and they said no it is outside 14 days of the annual plan. However I did not order this video service and because it is unauthorized these charges should be refunded. There is proof in Vimeos unauthorized account under my name that there is no activity ever under this account other than charges!! I see there are many similar complaints lodged with BBB for the same reason. Photos show the charges and show zero for storage to support no video service was used.

    ******** * ****** Last 4 digits of card: x1009 Date of charge: 1/29/25 Amount: $144.00 USD I signed up for a TRIAL subscription. When I went to cancel, I couldn't find where/how to cancel. There was no "cancel trial" button, no page I could manage my trial subscription. After much time and digging, I learned that I had to turn off the auto-renew option BEFORE last day of the trial to prevent being billed. It is predatory, making it easy to subscribe but almost impossible to unsubscribe.

    I upgraded but quickly found out it wouldn't work for me, so I requested a refund of $212.23 and to be downgraded. That was the end of Sept 2024 - I have had many emails back and forth with Vimeo, and they tell me my refund is delayed. It's now been four months since my initial request.

    We have been a loyal Vimeo customer for over four years, using their Plus Yearly plan for our video hosting needs. On January 10, 2025, we contacted Vimeo regarding our upcoming renewal and requested to keep our existing plan rather than be forced into an upgraded one.Instead of honoring our request, Vimeo unilaterally changed our plan without our consent and has since ignored our multiple support inquiries.Repeated emails have gone unanswered. Every time we reach out, we get a generic response saying the matter is under review, but no resolution is provided.Our plan was changed without approval. We never authorized an upgrade, yet Vimeo switched us to a different pricing structure without confirmation.Our renewal is imminent, and we have no clarity. Despite following up multiple times, Vimeo has yet to confirm whether our account will remain active or if our videos will be affected.This is an unacceptable way to treat long-term paying customers. We demand the following from ********************** immediately:Revert our plan to the original Plus Yearly plan that we signed up for.Confirm that our account and videos will remain intact, even if there are delays in resolution.Provide a formal response and resolution ASAP.This complaint is being filed because Vimeo has been completely unresponsive despite our best efforts to resolve the issue. If this is not addressed, we will be forced to consider further action, including reporting the matter to consumer protection agencies and exploring chargeback options.Desired Outcome: We want Vimeo to acknowledge our request, revert our plan to the originally agreed terms, and ensure our account remains active without any service disruptions.

    I have been paying Vimeo for the last 10 years over 500 dollars a year on average. As a result their system registers me as an older account called premium. a premium account limits you to how many user you can add at 10. Their website said upgrade to add more users. So I upgraded and paid them another 400 dollars. As a result. the upgrade did nothing and now support is telling me that I need to wait until 2026 till my account expires and then call them back. they cannot change my account to a newer cheaper service called "advanced" which allows over a ********************************************************* I have opened over 10 cases with their internal system. it gets responded to by links that are broken, and people based in ***** that have no idea what they are doing.

    For over a year I have been trying to cancel my vimeo account. I attempt every month until I'm forced to give up. The web site offers no customer support it refers you to an account billing link where one is supposed to be able to easily cancel their subscript. That does not exist. The link takes you to other subscription services they are selling. They make it impossible to cancel the subscription. You cannot speak to or email an invidual. One if forced to deal bot chats that take you through a loop and a waste of time. I want this to stop and I want my money refunded
