  Solomon Admissions Consulting, specifically my advisor *************************, taught me foundational writing skills along with providing me with accommodating guidance throughout the admissions process. My advisor was extremely attentive and thorough with all of my questions, and kept me on a healthy but effective pace during a very stressful process. ***** specifically maintained a respectful balance of providing advantageous advice, while still giving me space to explore my interests and maintain a unique voice in my passion projects and writing.

  My daughter and I worked with ************************* at Solomon Admission Consulting starting during the summer before her junior year. ****** is amazing. It was our first time using a college consultant, so we did not know what to expect, especially with so many changes from when I went to college. From the beginning through the next two years, she was on top of everything involving my daughter. ****** held regular meetings, is very thorough, offered creative insights, timely in response to my emails, kept her on a timeline so she was always prepared for the next step, continued to drive the process forward and was just what I needed as a parent. Also, my daughter's high school advisor is so amazing too and is highly involved. But my initial concerns I had about partnering with both were eased by the professional nature and understanding of ******. The primary objective was to provide support and the best advice to my daughter in helping to make her college decision. And ****** definitely added to this - now my daughter is off to Duke! If I had to do it over again, I would and ask for ******. In fact, I have already with my younger daughter.

  Solomon Consulting was very helpful- my advisor ****** was so responsive to my emails and was always willing to answer all of my questions. I got accepted into Duke, even though I was originally deferred. I am so glad I had ******* guidance to help me through the deferral process because without her it would have been a much harder process. I would recommend Solomon to anyone- not just for their helpful comments on essays but also on their attention to detail and setting carefully planned deadlines so you dont fall behind.

  Solomon is a useful service for students who lack a strong foundation in writing. The consultants are informed and kind. As an adept writer, I found the essay editing to be nearly useless in terms of tangibly changing my material: suggestions were trivial on average and occasionally poor. The most use I got from Solomon was in the extracurricular/major-orientation planning, which ensured I would not be pitching my application into a hyper-competitive field. I do legitimately love my consultant and I hope to keep in touch over the years: however, for the price point, college consulting with Solomon is legitimately not worth it. Believe me, I was simmering in anxiety, coming out of a highly competitive private high school. I thought I needed this to get in. It was nice, but competitors offer services for a far cheaper price: even current college students do freelance work that can be equally as good. At the end of the day, I am forever grateful for my consultant, who was endlessly patient and kind in a process where so many succumb to poor self esteem but that support structure can and should come from elsewhere, rather than be a standalone source. Thank you for everything, Solomon, and I am beyond eager to attend ******************* this fall.

  Our family used Solomon for both of our sons with great success. We started late (end of junior year) with our older son, but our counselor ******** got him up to speed quickly and kept him on track through senior year and the application process. With our younger son we had the wisdom to start earlier (sophomore year) - he had a different counselor *******, but experienced the same great structure to form the story he presented in his application process. Both of our sons were admitted to their top 3 choices of schools and are both now studying at their first choice ***************** UPenn. Our sons are in completely different schools and majors and their full college lists were very different. Solomon counsels on an achievable college list, but both of our sons chose to reach for schools and Solomons success is real - not fabricated by suggesting students apply to only target schools. College admissions is a stressful process, but we are 100% satisfied that we made the investment in counseling with Solomon.

  Solomon Admissions was very helpful; specifically, ******* assisted me in finding my strengths, making schedules/timelines, prioritizing my list of schools, and giving feedback/edits with my essays. Her professionalism and communication were great throughout the process. I'm very happy with the results I received after all the hard work and her support!

  My son and I had a fantastic experience with Solomon Admissions. Our Counselor (*****) was so helpful to my son, and therefore to me. My son is a senior in HS. He and I (solo father) got started WAY late with the process, because I was just not prepared for this. The high school was not helpful in any way as well. ***** completely took over for me, which was beyond helpful. She severely reduced my son's stress over the process. My son ended up getting in to every University he applied to (including his stretch school) with the exception of one. Oddly, its my **** mater where I have 2 degrees from (I haven't given the school a ***** since I finished in ****... so maybe I shouldn't be surprised). Without *****, I bet my son would still be trying to figure out how to do all this, and we would be at each other's throat. Thank you, *****!

  Solomon was professional in maintaining contact with my child and it was really nice to see them dedicate their time into helping her achieve her goals! They were consistent in updating their information and they were flexible when it came to requesting changes within the application. The counselor assigned, James S****, was very experienced and he gave us many tips on what to highlight and what to avoid in college applications. It was very easy to contact him and schedule meetings despite the time zone difference as well. Overall, my child and I learned a lot about the college applications process and we appreciate the work and support of Solomon for being with us on this application journey!

  We had a great experience with Solomon Admissions Consulting. They were organized, responsive and our counselor (*******) worked hard to get to know our daughter. She was able to help her narrow down her list of schools for consideration, introduce her to multiple schools that she hadn't considered and then worked to prepare the most competitive application they could. She helped our daughter maintain a great schedule for completing all of the tasks related to college applications which was extraordinarily beneficial. Instead of parents having to push their child to complete applications, our Solomon counselor partnered with our daughter to get the work done. We have not yet heard from all of our daughter's top five choices, but she has been accepted to two and waitlisted at one - a great outcome. The Solomon approach is organized, logical and leads to success. We highly recommend their services.
