Their approval process went smoothly. Payments were fair. And there was no penalty for pre-payment.

First loan went very well. When I was up for renewal, I thought, why not? I should have paid more attention to the terms of the new loan. They changed the terms so that if I paid off the whole thing early there was only a 25% reduction of interest (they didn't tell me they were going to do this--it was just buried in the contract) and they weren't up front about how my new loan would actually have a higher interest rate. They just kept selling me on the fact that they were waiving all the interest on the first loan and how great this was for my business credit. I trusted them, and I shouldn't have. I should have read the fine print--it was all in there, but they should have been up front about the changes and explained them to me. Instead, they acted like I was just renewing the same loan when that was not the case. I can't wait to get this paid off. I will not go with OnDeck again. I recommend using a more honest company like LiftFund.On Deck Capital, Inc. Response

If you are reading this now, you are a very fortunate person because you have the option of using On Deck Capital as your Fiduciary!Im telling you to use On Deck Capital and you wont be SORRY!!I have been in banking for 40+ years and I know the good guys from the bad guys. They are only out to make large sums of money. They charge excessive rates and the customer service is extremely poor. The various departments have no ideal of what's going on in your file. I would never refer this company to anyone.On Deck Capital, Inc. Response

****** (in account review department vs. my loan manager) was very helpful in attempting to address an unexpected matter regarding my account. The matter was not resolved immediately, as it was beyond her realm of responsibility, but she made a point to let me know the details about the next steps and to assure me she'd get back to me as soon as she had more information to share. My loan manager, ****, was as helpful as she could be, and though limited in what she could handle herself, transferred me to ****** to assist me further.On Deck Capital, Inc. Response

***, I am surprised they asked me for this review. I renewed this loan in a position to scale my business. They gave me a decent amount of money but the interest is out of control and the way they pull it for my business model wasn't ideal. I recommend anyone in a position needing to grow, get creative, figure out other ways to get funding. These loans mask temporary problems and end up leaving you in a worse situation than before unless you are in dire need for fast money and a quick flip.On Deck Capital, Inc. Response

This is a completely predatorial loan service. Their interest rates are through the roof and hard to calculate. If you make a payment mid-way through the month it still pays on interest instead directly to the principal amount. When you make a payment it takes days to post which means you get hit with more interest so if you try and pay the amount off in full it keeps you making a ton of small payments for the built up interest that accumulates while you payment posts. It literally won't let you pay it off. It just continues to strong arm interest out of you. Avoid this lender at all cost. They are also associated/owned by a company called Enova that has a massive amount of class action lawsuits for violating lender regulations and for stealing money out of peoples accounts.On Deck Capital, Inc.
