I ordered from TryMyWorld for Christmas over a year ago and have been unable to end my subscription. I have been charged multiple times but NEVER received any goods from the company. I would love to be refunded for every package that I did not receive (again, this is all of them). I honestly had no idea I was still getting charged which is on me, but now that I am seeking to end my services, it seems that I am unable to. Supposedly I do not have an account with ************************* under my email ******************* yet they are sending me customer service messages as well as promotionals which suggests they DO have my email on file and absolutely CAN end my subscription. This company is clearly a scam dressed up.Initial Complaint

I ordered a 3 box subscription for $62.40 in mid-January.I've been trying to resolve this since February. I tried going online and there was no account for **** tried several phone numbers.I even sent an email through ******** messenger on 3/18/23.I canceled this order on 3/20/23 I did receive 2 redundant boxes after I cancelled. I should not have to take the time and cost to return merchandise when I had already cancelled on 3/20/23. And I shouldn't be charged $62 for essentially 1 box. My credit card company said the charges were valid based on an *** shipping receipt. I will continue to contest it.Initial Complaint

Good afternoon,Please note I first made my purchase with Try The World on 6/11/22 for a 6 month subscription. Since that time, I have only received 2 boxes from their company. I had emailed them (all emails are attached for proof) in 8/2022 since that box never shipped. I was informed there was a system glitch and the box was never sent and one would be sent to me late. The communication provided from them was never clear and majority of the time my direct questions were not answered. I did request a refund from them directly but was denied. I tried working it out with the company and made several calls to their office- all calls were either timed out or never answered. I explained this in an email to them requesting someone call me to get direct answers regarding shipping and such. No one ever called me. I sent one final request on 10/4/2022 asking again for a manger or someone to call me. I received no email back and still no calls from them. My emails provided below show all details of these issues. I purchased a 6 month subscription- almost 5 months ago now and have not received anything close to the services they state they would provide nor half the boxes I already purchased. Please review all supporting documentation attached and help me get a full refund since services purchased have NOT been provided. Thank you!Customer response

I purchased a one-time gift box subscription in December 2021 and then canceled all of the subscriptions, did not renew for sending monthly boxes. I was continued to be charged for boxes ******* 2022 to present. I was able to dispute the months of June, July, August and September with my credit card company, but am not able to dispute *********** 2022 with the credit card. I paid the company 481 dollars during *********** for the monthly charges that my credit card is not able to refund. For ******* through April I was charged two charges per month from them, for *** it was only one charge. I did not receive any of the subscription boxes during this time (otherwise I would have canceled/caught it much sooner). After contacting the company they are telling me "they located a subscription for 49 dollars per month renewal", my account shows all of my subscriptions are canceled and not active since December 2021. The subscription they claim they located does not even match the charges that I accrued (I was charged $49 and $57 every month Jan-April, charged $57 ***-September). Of note, when I first contacted the company they said they didn't even have an account matching my e-mail, after further contact with them they were able to locate it (as clearly they had my credit card info saved). They have offered to send the missing boxes for this time period which is not adequate, as I only subscribed for a one-time box and do not care to receive more boxes. I am seeking to be refunded the $481 dollars that I have paid to them due to being incorrectly charged and also not receiving any product.Customer response

At this time, I have been contacted directly by Try The World, Inc. regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:
They have stopped responding to my correspondences. They told me to manage it through disputes with my credit card company, credit card company only able to dispute 3 months back which I repeatedly told try the world. In my correspondences with try the world they also stated I was charged a certain dollar amount due to living in ******, I do not live in ****** which would be clear from the billing and shipping addresses Ive provided (therefore another mistake on their part). This issue has not been resolved because I was charged 481 dollars worth of services without products.

I ordered a set of 3 boxes as a gift to my brother. They didnt deliver any boxes after several months, but they charged for another set of 3 boxes. I emailed about this, and they said they would send the boxes. Another several months pass, and my brother has received a total of 2 boxes. By this point they had charged me for 9 boxes. Completely ridiculous. Even more ridiculous is when I asked for my money back for all the boxes that werent delivered, they refused. They did say they would send all the boxes I had paid for, but Im not holding my breath. Absolutely horrible company. Terrible service experience topped off by an astoundingly insulting refusal to refund for service they didnt render.Initial Complaint

I ordered from this company June 4th I never received a confirm email nor the products as ordered. I emailed them and got no response. It has been 2 months and I still have no received anything from them, not an email response or the products we ordered. They appear to be a scam as many have the same exact issue. Their posted phone number on their own website only leads to a busy signal. This company owes me $150 and needs to be shut down as a scam!Initial Complaint

October 5, 2021: Ordered a 3 month subscription box from Try the World. Their website stated that it would take ***** days for the first shipment to arrive. November 18, 2021: There has been no further updates from the company. No email with tracking numbers, no email stating that the package was delayed. Emailed the company with the order number and told them since nothing was received and they did not inform me of a delay so a full refund of $132 was requested. ***** responded saying she couldn't find our mailing address, which is clearly on the account. Responded again to ***** and told her a full refund was requested.November 19, 2021: Email response from ***** that there was a glitch in the computer and they will send a replacement box the 2nd or 3rd week of December and a free bonus snack box in ******** Still no tracking number from the company.November 29, 2021: Logged into my account at Try the World and cancelled my order. Their site has my account listed a "pending cancellation" and that a follow up email would be sent. No further contact with the company. Please contact the company and request a full refund and to make sure that this account is cancelled and not just "pending cancellation" as it shows on my account.
