      Kaiyo picked up the couch for consignment on their website on 4/2/2024. The item was sold in August/September for $513. Based on their revenue sharing agreement, I am entitled to 22% of the price sold. However, when I reached out to them inquiring the payout, they told me they are in liquidation and will not be paying out.

      I ordered and paid for furniture from Kaiyo on September 8. I have not received it and today they said their best estimate another 2-3 weeks as they are working to finalize a date to handover to a carrier. Will I ever receive it or a refund given their proposed wind down?

      I am complaining about a furniture sale to **************************. I contracted with Kaiyo to list my bedframe for sale and receive a percentage of the sale price. I saw on their website that my piece sold and I was I was entitled to my payout of $147.68. I requested payout on their site and received an email telling me I would receive further information about my payout on 7/14. After not hearing anything further, I reached out to customer service on 8/2 and received a reply that they were experiencing delays with payouts without an *** on mine. I wrote again on 8/12 and received a reply on 8/14 stating: We understand you are concerned with receiving the payout on your item. We are so sorry for the delayed reply. Currently, Furnishare dba Kaiyo is in the initial phase of doing an orderly wind down of the Company. Due to the current situation, we are not able to complete your payout at this time. In due course you will receive communications on how to file a claim (Proof of Claims). We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you.I have not received further information. I attempted to call the customer service number included on my email communications - the voicemail stated no one will answer. I emailed again 8/27 without a reply. I understand I am not the only customer who has filed a complaint about this issue with the BBB.

      July 2024 Kaiyo agreed to re sell our couch. They were supposed to contact me once the couch was sold. Today 9/10/2024 I contacted them through email, I later that day got an email back from them stating the couch has been sold but due to them "winding down their business" they said they cannot pay me my 55 percent from my couch being sold.

      On June 21, 2024, I contacted Kaiyo regarding several pieces of furniture I was interested in giving to them to sell on consignment. Kaiyo accepted and picked up 12 pieces of furniture on July 1, 2024. On August 2, 2024 I checked my account and was notified that several of my items were sold and I was to receive a payout from Kaiyo. I contacted Kaiyo several weeks later to follow up on the payout and received a voice message that no agents were available and to call back later. As I dug into this issue deeper I saw that the business had abruptly closed. I entrusted Kaiyo to provide the consignment service I agreed to, and payout the funds that are due to me. Now, I am left with a company that has closed down and is not communicating with me, or paying me.

      Resale furniture company ***** came to house in ********** to pick up two items of furniture to be resold after restoration,the items would not fit into new home in ********All communication online using their website Check back in at regular intervals to see if posted items sold Items sold,resale value posted and percentage of payout listed at 18% for both items Cash out option selected online - told to wait for email from *********** with details and options about how to obtain payout Checked back regularly August 29th #*** payout of $117.13 stewed on website but received no email.Contacted customer support on Sept 10 th 2*** received reply same day saying Kaiya in initial phase of doing an orderly wind down of the company and they are not able to complete your payout at this time They also said that in due course you will receive communications on how to file a claim ( Proof of claims)After reading online of many other people experiencing the same thing I wish to make a complaint against this company

      They are thieves. They came and picked up my furniture which was great but then sold it and have not sent me my share. They sold many items and my cash out so far is about $175. One item says sold but still pending delivery. I tried to cash out and the email I received said it would take 7 to 10 days to hear from checkbook. I have never heard anything and never received any money. They are now not answering the phone or responding to emails

      Kaiyo is an online marketplace for pre-owned furniture. I contacted Kaiyo in May 2024 to sell 3 items of furniture. Kaiyo picked up my furniture in June of 2024 and has sold 2 of the furniture items. I initially contacted Kaiyo via email inquiring about my payout on 7/23/2024 and received an email response stating we are experiencing delays cashing out and do not have an ETA on a resolution.I have repeatedly emailed Kaiyo for follow up on the payout on 8/6/2024, 8/8/2024, 8/15/2024 and the last email response from Kaiyo on 8/15/2024 stated:We understand you are concerned with receiving the payout on your item. We are so sorry for the delayed reply. Currently, Furnishare dba Kaiyo is in the initial phase of doing an orderly wind down of the Company. Due to the current situation, we are not able to complete your payout at this time. In due course you will receive communications on how to file a claim (Proof of Claims). We are very sorry for the inconvenience. Thank you.I have sent several emails since then inquiring about my payout and have received no response from Kaiyo. The total amount due to me for the 2 furniture items Kaiyo sold is $1732.77. The remaining 1 furniture item has been sold and pending delivery as per the Kaiyo website. Only after the item is delivered Kaiyo will post the amount of money payout to me. There is no way to contact Kaiyo by telephone and the Kaiyo website states the phone lines are unavailable. I did search and find a telephone number for Kaiyo but their system does not allow to leave voicemail messages. The only form of communication with Kaiyo is via email.

      I sold many furniture items through Kaiyo at the end of May 2024. I was never notified of their selling, but upon logging in to my account on Sept 9 I see that all of my items have sold and Im due a payout of $709.18. However, after requesting a payout the Kaiyo team emailed saying they will not be paying. They shouldve returned my items instead, as Im now cheated out of my furniture.

      In March and April of 2024, Kaiyo picked up items of furniture from me to sell on consignment.- March (queen size leather bed frame)- April **************** tall boy dresser) Both items were listed on their website and subsequently sold. My cut of the sale price totaled $308.16. On July 4, 2024 I requested a cash out to receive payment for the items they sold. My last communication from them was on 7/4/24 indicating that my payment was on the way. I have received no payment or follow-up communication. They have not responded to email. There is no longer a telephone number on the website for contact.I just want the money that is due to me.
