This business advertised a dresser but left major defaults out of the description and photos. It refused to take the dresser back or offer any meaningful damages. This business model appears unethical and I would not recommend this company to other consumers.

Hello ********. I see that you have been working with one of our CX Specialists, *******, and that she approved a return of this item for a full refund, as an exception. If there is anything else you need, please let us know, but I hope this fully resolves the situation.Take care,******************* VP Customer Experience

They accepted an 8 month old bed and were picking it up the day my daughter was moving out of state. The men showed up and the office told them to reject the bed based on a very small scratch that was under the mattress and was not visible. The driver pleaded with his office saying this was a brand new piece and should not be rejected but they refused to listen. My daughter was forced to move leaving it behind. It cost her the security deposit. Kaiyo did absolutely nothing to remedy the situation. They claim they want to keep furniture out of landfills. That is complete ** to try to get you to use them. They are a farce and I plead with anyone reading this to find another option. This company left my young daughter high and dry and should never be trusted.

Hello *******. I remember working with you on this issue, and although we tried to make it right, I understand in the end we were not able to find a convenient time to come pick up the bed. We are very sorry, but do assure you that our mission is sound. This was not the typical Kaiyo experience, however we are a young, growing company, and mistakes happen. I do promise that we take it seriously, and use those situations to help us improve.Thank you, and take care.******************* VP Customer Experience **********************

Extremely predatory pricing schemes. Desk i sold retails for $895, i sold it in less than a day on **** for $500 but the sale fell through so i submitted to kaiyo. I expected a low ball offer from Kaiyo but they gave me an instant offer of $100 for a desk that has market data at $500 and will likely be sold by Kaiyo for $600-$700 given the demand and current backlog from manufacturers for the item. On top of this, they priced the item in the 22% revenue share pricing range. What this meant is that had i chose not to accept the extremely low offer of $100, the item would be sold and I would receive 22% of the revenue share leaving me without about $40. My option was either to accept the $100 or wait until the item sold and collect $40. On top of that, they give you 2 days to accept the instant offer. The movers even used my packaging to pack the items before they took them in the truck. Additionally, i tried multiple times to contact the staff before the pick up to let them know about the pricing for this item and they repeatedly did not return my messages. Unfortunately, you have no way to get out of the arrangement because Kaiyo takes your credit card and charges you $100 if you cancel. Finally, I called to let them know i wanted my item back the day of while it was still in the truck so I could give it to someone for free rather than Kaiyo getting a 90% profit margin. They told me the sales were final and items can never be returned.I expected predatory behavior from this type of company but this was so far beyond anything i expected. I have never written a BBB review in my life but this is one of the worst experiences i've ever had. I simply wish I would have just given this $895 ************************* desk to someone that appreciated it rather than get scammed by a company that clearly shows zero interest in providing any type of customer support or care for it's clients. If you want to try your luck with kaiyo, i wish you the best, but my experience was miserable.
