              Impossible to get a hold of a real person instead of AI robot assistance. Once you finally get a human, its impossible to delete your account. You cant even delete your credit card info off of their site.

              Im yet another victim to their predatory renewal system. I set up Noom back in December, they suggested a 7 month renewal period based on a trip I had planned. Well, I stopped using it somewhere in January, check my emails daily, and was shocked this morning to see a charge for $184 to Noom for another 7 month subscription. No warning emails and no availability of refunds. Sent something off to customer service but have little hope this will be resolved. Im pretty sure that the auto renew is automatically on when you start a subscription, making it easier for them to sneak in on customers.

              I just need to let those out there considering NOOM to pay attention to the first two letters --- 'NO!!!!" They tricked me into signing up for multiple types of accounts (when I thought I was renewing their discounted one for another 8 months). I know they settled a lawsuit for $62 million for such practices ... but of course I found that out AFTER I'd been tricked and apparently they haven't fully changed their ways. I asked for a refund for being tricked and they delayed it until I was outside their "30-day refund window" and then refused to refund the expenses. INFURIATING!! DO NOT SIGN UP!!! I went back and forth multiple times with their so-called "support" - NOT! I asked them to elevate my claim and they wrote back once more and then closed my ticket. HIGHLY recommend AVOIDING them!

              I have a complaint against this company Noom, Inc. for continuing to charge me the $180 and just after I noticed they charged me I requested that they cancel my account and refund my charge. They just told me I had a chance to cancel before and I did not cancel. That kind of policy for a service is absurd. Just refund me the money. I have not used this service for months. I think they are robbers and stole my money. I would not recommend them to anyone for treating customers is such a terrible way. So frustrating! I've had this happen with other companies where I am charged and then cancel and they are always good to cancel and refund, why does Noom take such an absurd stance to say "If you don't cancel before, then too bad we will not refund your money." Do not do business with this company.

              What a predatory auto-renew scam app. Five steps with hidden "cancel" buttons just to cancel my subscription! They've been charging me for YEARS without the promised "notification" emails regarding subscription renewals. I never received any notification emails for all of these charges, and agents on the phone were absolutely unreasonable. When is the next class action going to hit this company? Sign me up.

              This app should not be used by addicts or narcissists. I thought it would be cool for my husband to be on this app but its just made everything worse. He is more abusive and more narcissistic than ever. It seems to be very similar to casinos are to gambling addicts. He has become a huge eating disorder that gets praise from the app. He cant function due to low calories and goals, protein brain, doesnt ever eat with the family, ignores his family because even his grandchild interferes with his workout schedule. Stay away from this app from h*** if you want your family to be sane.

              The app is helpful. But the money end of this company ticks me off. I signed up, and when offered enhancement courses, I clicked on some that were more age/gender specific. I saw zero info saying I would be charged MORE for them. Once I realized I would be, I contacted Noom and said to take those courses off. I didnt want to pay more. I was told since they couldnt reverse the charges then, I could ask for a refund when I was charged. (They even said they couldnt tell me how much Id be charged!) When I got my credit card bill, I called to get the extra $29.00 charge that showed up reversed. Then I was told I wouldve had to call within 14 days to have them reversed. I already had called! This is very bad business practice. I am writing to warn all potential customers.

              Terrible company. Will never shop with them again. The program was decent but paying for a coach and all the extra features was useless. I clicked the option in the app to be contacted via text and they never did. I just felt like I was another number in the system. When I asked for a *partial* refund because I wasnt having success with the program or enjoying it, they refused. I wasnt even asking for a full refund. Just to be switched to a shorter plan that would cover the time I used it and then refunded the difference which I feel like is not much to ask for. It was literally $60 of $189. Wasnt even asking for the additional $99 I paid for all the extra c*** that didnt help. I just feel like when a customer is unhappy with their service or results, you should do whatever it takes to make things right. Where is the customer service these days? And the app and support is basically all AI. Cheaper for them, annoying for us. DONT USE!!

              If I could give zero stars, I would!! What a bunch of horse S$it excuses did I have to deal with. They charged me every 8 months $190 even though I had cancelled my subscription in 2021! It's been three years y'alls.By chance I came across an email stating that I was going to be charged the amount of $180 and some changes plus taxes! I was perplexed and called to verify why I've was being charged. After many attempts to get them to at least refund me half of the charges from the past three years, they refused... Even though they could tell that I hadn't been active on their APP AND I had cancelled in 2021. To add insult to injury "yes they can see that I did tried to cancel my subscription, but unfortunately they system didn't catch it" whatever that means. I don't know how I missed the charges until literally today, but (!) I do have to say that NOOM caught me at a terrible perfect time. *****, moved to a different state, lost a beloved family member right after, child diagnosed with depression... It was indeed the perfect storm for them to take my hard earned money and run with it. IF you give NOOM a chance, you better keep a hawk-eye on your bills!! Absolutely would not recommend.

              Not great auto-renew policy. I didn't get a notification/ reminder about an auto-renew. It was for 5 months/ $174 - so an odd amout of months and a decent amount of money. I contacted Noom the same day I got the billing email and they did eventually offer me a refund, which I do appreciate. I'm giving it 3 stars because I appreciate the refund, but it was still a hassle. The app/ program was not the best fit for me, so I hadn't been using it fir several months.
