      I would encourage everyone to NOT use this company. I did and it was definately a mistake. Specifically, I purchased a purchased a travel insurance policy through ******* who informed me STARR was the underwriter. I had to cancel my trip at the last minute due to weather and they refuse to refund my money.Yes the policy did say you must cancel within 14 days but that is ridiculous. I purchased the trip in May of 2024 and the hotel gave me a reservation in April 2025. I purchased my travel insurance.canceling within 14 days of buying the policy, how is anyone going to know what the weather is . Travel insurance is for protection and no one can know what is going to happen when the trip is almost a tear away.I travel a great deal and plans change often, flexibility is pertinent in travel. I have never had a travel insurance company refuse to cancel the policy or change the dates. This company refused to do either. I can almost understand an administrative fee but not the total amount of the policy. It is hard to define this this as anything but greed. Do not use this company
