      After 10 years they cancelled my business policy.Due to insured loss history.Isn't that the point of insurance.Maybe 5 small losses in 10years = nonrenewal for loss history.Well then they probably shouldn't do Insurance

      I noticed this year that they had updated my company's address incorrectly. We have always been on the 9th floor and someone made a typo and listed us on the 5th floor of the same address. I was told by multiple "agents" that they updated their system this year and some info did not tranfer. When I called to get an updated COI for my rental business they kept sending my expired COI's from last year causing me to almost lose a major job. When I mentioned that they had my address listed incorrectly one agent said updating it would increase my premium. I did not authorize but was mearley trying to rectify their systems error. About a month later I noticed my Credit Card was charge over 1k randomly. I've called their company multiples times (was told "they don't have a billing department)." Also one agent said they didn't have my credit card on file (even thought they been charging it the past two months). Both random amounts. This company seems incredible shady and looking to find another provider (happy to pay more) just feel like they aren't a legitimate company.

      I have been with Hiscox ***************** for around 10 years and I only had one claim after 3 years and they took care of it but 7 years later I had the same type of claim and they denied it they used a word game to word why they denied the claim I have a TV installation contracting company where we ********'s on the wall so to protect ourselves we acquired a general liability insurance plan Incase we accidentally causing damage to someone else's property now remind you we mount TV's on the wall and that's our main profession and to be able to do that we must lift the TV and at any given time we could have a accident and drop the TV and it being the main reason why we have general liability insurance to cover damaging someone else's property now in our insurance policy it states that you're covered for damage's to someone else's property within your limits but then they use this word game to deny your claim by say you're not covered do to your work and custody of care of someone else's property you damage so that means that anytime we go to a customer's place to mount a TV as soon as we lift the TV we are not covered but they continue to collect our premium every month Knowing the type of service we provide and that we will not be covered so therefore for 7 years we have been paying for no coverage so we are posting this review to save you the embarrassment and the financial burden you may be left with after you file a claim with this insurance company they're really needs to be something done about these unethical fraudulent tactics so please stay away from this company

      This insurer used to be reliable, but for the past two years, getting a Certificate of Insurance (COI) has been a nightmare. Every time I need one, I end up spending hours or even days following up there's always some excuse about their ************, things hit a new low. I was informed my insurance policy had been canceled, despite being charged the monthly fee just six days ago. After speaking with a representative, I was told it was a system error, and they had to open a ticket that could take up to 24 hours to fix. Meanwhile, I need to submit my COI by Wednesday or risk losing a $5,000 contract.I strongly advise looking for another insurance company. If they struggle this much with basic paperwork, I cant imagine what a claims process would be like. They should be ashamed of their poor service.

      Oh where do I begin? I initially called because my policy expired. I was told that I needed to update my payment info. Then I was told it was canceled because my policy wasn't "accurate" to my needs...Okay. Spoke to someone who asked me a bunch of questions to try to get it figured out, gave me a quote and told me that I would receive policy documents within 48 hours..Okay. 2 weeks went by and nothing I called AGAIN, and they told me they had no record of me ever calling and she didn't see any thing about it in my notes or anything. She said that she would expedite this to underwriting and I would receive policy documents in 48 hrs. ANOTHER week went by and nothing so I called again. ANOTHER lady told me she had no record of me ever calling and didnt know what I was talking about SO like anyone would, I said you can tell underwriting or whoever to just forget it, I don't want to do businesses with a company that is so unorganized and I would be going with a different company. Almost 2 MONTHS LATER they randomly charged me over $400 and emailed me policy documents that were "back dated" from October!! I called absolutely LIVID and was told they would process my refund and she just had to send the info and proof of my other insurance to her managers. I was told she would call me back the NEXT DAY! Here we are 2 days later and NOTHING! I disputed the transaction to my bank because in what world is it okay to charge someone for something they never agreed to pay almost 2 months later. Luckily I have documentation of my expired policy and call logs of the 1000 times I tried to get in touch with them. This Company is absolutely awful and completely dishonest. BEWARE!!

      Nowhere in my documentsor website does it say that I will be charged a cancellation fee. Nobody told me on the phone that I would be charge a cancellation fee. When I called again, she couldnt tell me how much the cancellation fee was but just that I wasnt getting refund for premiums I paid. I had insurance for less than a month but somehow theyre keeping first and last months premiums and giving me $1 back.

      They will takebit upon themselves to reinstate your canceled policy. I canceled mine and the thieves took another payment a month later saying "they reinstated" my policy. Dishonest thieves, do not insure your company with them!

      If there was a negative I'd give them one. We rented to one of their customers who named us additionally insured for a specific event. Their customer damaged our property so we filed a claim. We provided pictures of the proof of damage, quote, and even an email where their customer says they are at fault however, they "respectfully" declined our claim with a bunch of meaningless insurance jargon. Beware!!!! It appears by the other 3 reviews they are basically unethical in all forms of their business. They are partners with ******** and Company who also has terrible reviews as well.

      this company ***** !!! NO one has an email - no one has an answer, no one wants to help !!!I will more than likely cancel my policy because NO ONE CAN GIVE ME AN EMAIL or someone to talk to to help increase my coverage !!! I WOULD NOT USE THIS CRAPPY company to do anything !!! WHAT A JOKE !!
