Would never purchase from this company again. I ordered a stock item in custom size (silver and sapphire ring). Within weeks of receiving the ring, the stone fell out of the setting the second time I wore it. Fortunately, it fell out in a location where I was able to retrieve the stone. I requested a refund due to poor quality, which they denied, claiming it was a custom order. Returned it and they reattached the stone. Several months later, the stone fell out again, this time in a location where the I wasn't able to find the stone. Emailed the company again, still waiting on a response.Terrible product quality and terrible service.

Was hesitant to place a custom ring order with a company online. However, placed the order and received a wonderful mens ring - 18k white gold with a lush blue aquamarine birth stone. Ring and stone are perfect and exactly what I was seeking to commemorate the passing of my father.The only reason for the 4 stars, and not 5, is the band is engraved with GEMO in the spot where I intended to have my fathers initials and death date placed. If this was disclosed, or indicated prior, I would have requested it not to be engraved with the company logo, and would have verbalized my intentions for that area. Potentially another service Gemolocia could have sold.Other than this, I have and will continue, to express my positive experience with Gemologica.Gemologica.com

Company sent me the wrong product. Did not offer to correct the situation. Charged me 10% restocking fee plus changed my original free shipping to paid. In all, I paid $71.95 to return a $340 item, even though it was not my mistake ($34 restocking + $15.95 shipping added + $22 return shipping with insurance). I would never buy a thing from this company again. I ordered a ring that fell apart within a few months after receiving the ring. The stone fell out. I did not catch the prongs on anything. The stone was gone. I contacted customer service right away; sent pictures, and was told they would work with me. After the company told me to return the ring, which I did right after I got the email, I was told I couldnt return the ring because it was out of the return policy timeline. For starters, we are very happy to hear that you loved the ring itself that you received, as you referred to it numerous times as a "beautiful ring". You contacted us many months after receiving your ring as the stone was dislodged after being severely hit. You had contacted us to see if we could fix the ring, which we agreed to. After sending the ring back, and us having corrected it, you then wanted to receive a refund. It is correct that your order was months outside of our return policy window and wasn't eligible for return. I have been wanting a gemstone ring since the 70s. Ive searched locally and on line for weeks to find a quality alexandrite that didnt break the bank as per the cost of natural alexandrite. I found Gemologica on line and reviewed their site finding the ring that I truly wanted and a great price point that suited me. I was contacted by e-mail by a lady whos first name begins with J as I was having trouble with getting the ring in the cart. She was very helpful and patient with answering my questions. Five days later I was informed my ring was custom built for me and on its way. I received it and Im very impressed and happy with my purchase.
