  I was going through a tough time during December due to some unexpected payments. I sent in an application to Lendkey asking for a month off my loan. I explained it and sent in the car bill. They denied me. I sent in another one and didn't even hear back. I sent an email and another application - nothing. Now im struggling even more and so behind. They can't even give me a month off. It's sad to see when a company does not care at all, but hey, it's a loan company and they only care about the money. They do not care if you are struggling.

  This company is a predatory lending facility. They buy the debt from other banks and refuse to work with their debtors. I have a loan that at the end of the term will be 110% more than the amount that I borrowed. I asked for a way to pay the principle as my payments wouldn't even cover the interest payments. They stated that they would equate to a full pay off in 20 years. I'm confused on how the interest rate would cost me more than the principle amount moving forward at this payment. I'm not sure what magical rate policy they have but I'd love to know their math! The gentleman instructed me that they have the ability to make adjustments to the contracts yet refuse to do so. I asked about their default policy as a situation may arise. Basically they sick the dogs on you for your money. I wish my loan originator warned me about how lendkey would assume my debt and ******* my family into submission. What a trash organization!

  I mailed a payment (check) on 11/27/23 for my December payment and received an email on 12/14/23 stating LendKey hadn't received my payment. I immediately made the payment electronically and paid $30 at my CU to stop payment on a check I assumed was lost or stolen. On 12/15/23 LendKey emailed me stating they "processed" my electronic payment. On 12/20/23 they emailed me stating my payment hadn't been received. According to the **** LendKey miraculously found my check on 12/14/23 and applied my electronic payment to the principle and opted to process the check I stopped payment on. The *** assured me the matter was handled. On 12/27/23 LendKey emailed me stating they hadn't received my December payment. The *** stated "it takes a while to reapply funds applied to the principle" but they're working on it. If this practice is an attempt to secure vast numbers of end-of-the-year late payment fees from their customers, it works like a charm!!! YOU"VE BEEN WARNED!!!!!

  0/5 if I could. First, I have been trying to reach anyone there for the better part of a week. Was on hold for OVER TEN HOURS before the call dropped (I did not hang up). Press "1" for callback doesn't seem to work. I'm actually still on hold on a new call as I type this. Verified the number several times.Even though I logged in just last week to check my status, somehow this week something is wrong with my account. I am told my social security number is not valid/no longer valid? I guarantee my SSN is more valid than whatever this site is.It's one of the most obfuscating, cumbersome lenders I've delt with.

  Bait and switch student loan offers. They show a low fixed rate of **** % and my credit was pulled at 809 credit score. Maybe besides my score its not perfect (maybe) and I received a slightly higher rate Id be understanding but I received a 9% interest rate. I asked the supervisor why would I receive such a rate and if she there was anything we could check with underwriting to help or explain the situation. The only explanation was its proprietary information. Everything about this situation feels like a bait and switch scenario. Lendkey has not intention or giving customers the lowest rates and its all a scam. Id be extremely cautious about going with this company.
