I did a consolidation of credit with Reach Financial. The customer service individual that signed me up said I could change my first payment online. I went and changed it from July 22 to Aug 1. Well I was supposed to be charged bi-weekly. I was charged $293.63 on August 1 and then $293.63 AGAIN on four days later on August 5. This left me with no money in my checking account for the next 11 days to live off of. I called customer service on approximately 11:35 am on 5 July, 2024 and the customer service rep said they cant fix it.DO NOT USE REACH FINANCIAL THEY DONT MAKE THEIR MISTAKES RIGHT!!!!

Got into Natl debt relief Nov.2022. Debt reduced from $13,000 to $10,000. They referred me to Reach Financial based on my good payment history. They made it sound promising.Loan #*******. They say my debt is $19,000 now.Despite calls to receive the written contract through the regular mail, I have received nothing. I got into the program to REDUCE debt, NOT INCREASE IT. Can you please help? Thank you.

I had to temporarily stop payments on my $250 a month loan with this company back in November 2023. I could no longer afford to pay what they wanted with the cost of living and no increase in pay at my current employer. I decided that once I got my income tax I would get caught up on the 2 missed payments I owed and work out an agreement for future payments if possible. However, on 2/17/24, I noticed a $250 payment was withdrawn from my account and credited to Reach Financial. I didn't understand how that could happen considering I turned off auto-pay in November 2023 and never turned it back on. I called and spoke to a representative that told me she sees that I scheduled the payment on my end. I told that representative that's impossible because I didn't have the money in my account to cover the $250. She then proceeded to tell me that someone went into my account and setup the payment on my behalf from my end. No one has access to my computer, no one knows anything about my Reach Financial Loan, no one has access to my username and password to hack into my account and schedule a payment on my behalf, nor would that be of benefit to anyone to do such a thing. This company called and texted me day and night when I missed payment and now all of a sudden the payment is taken out my account and they're telling me I did it. I want someone to investigate how this could have happened because again, I never went into my account and authorized a payment when I knew I only had enough money to cover Gas and Electric, there would not have been enough money left over to pay Reach Financial too. I want someone to provide me with the truth and stop lying to me about taking that $250 payment out of my account. Even if it was a system error on their end, I want the truth instead of being spoken to like I'm an idiot.

I was sent to this company by National Debt Relief to consolidate debt with no other alternatives other than to drown in debt. I was told that my debt would be paid off in 24 months, this was a solid cut off and I was not made aware at any point until recently that this "loan" would be extended out indefinitely despite paying what was asked for monthly. I did not miss a payment and I did not short them money on any of my payments, however, 24 months became 26 months, became 29 months, became 32 months. It took a multitude of phone calls to get anyone to give me a straight answer. No where on the site does it state that my billing will continue to lengthen in time and I was never sent any paperwork. I would know, i have paperwork from everything for the last 10+ years. They sent me nothing. My last payment was supposed to be March of ****, however, they added more time as stated above. I was still drowning. I had to go to the bank and get a personal loan (which the woman from Reach snidely told me I wouldn't get) and when the bank tried to pay Reach, they sat on it past the pay off date, which accrued MORE interest. When the bank finally got on them and forced them to take the payoff money, that was supposed to be the end of it. Instead, I logged on today and they're demanding ANOTHER $16 stating that the payoff wasn't the principal. This is bait and switch, this is theft, this is illegal. When you request a payoff, you are to give the customer or bank the amount required to pay off the debt, not some fun number you pull out of thin air. They still made me pay this because they decided to sit on the check claiming they only cashed them on Tuesdays and Thursdays. This is ridiculous, this company is a loan shark dressed up as debt relief.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because: I feel that had I not printed copies of everything so I had proof, I'd be SOL. It took many phone calls and emails for over a month to get this taken care of. After I was told it was paid in full, I went online 2 days later and it showed I still owed $120.92. This was when I sent the email verification that my account was paid in full. Finally on January 25,2024 I received an email letting me know my account was paid in full. I have never dealt with such an unprofessional company in my life.

I got into this Reach loan after I was in ********************. I was trying to take control of my debt and get my credit back on track afterward. I went through the whole program and they sent me to Reach which helped settle the debts. It now I have this 4 year loan that comes out to more than 10,000$ in interest with two payments a month. I cant afford it and my credit is trashed. Its higher than some of the credit cards and pulls out of my account every two weeks. A usury nightmare loan. I cant afford it. They just keep taking every ***** I have and I cant afford food for the family.

I contacted national debt relief join their program which they are liars. They connected me with reach financial in June of 2023. During the phone conversation I was told that my debts would be paid and in 30 days of my first payment due to reach financial my credit score would jump up 57 to 58 points and after 3 months of payments my score would jump again. Another 73 points. I have been with this company for several months and I have not received my credit score increase as promised and that is the only reason I chose to go with this company and when I joined them I specifically asked several times during the phone conversation. My score will jump up at least 57 to 58 points in the first 30 days of my payment and they said yes and then an additional 73 and 90 days and that is not happened and I will be fresh pressing fraud charges against reach financial. If this does not happen I would have never gone with this company whatsoever. They lied to me. National debt relief is also involved in this. They lied as well. They are the ones that put me with reach financial reach. Financial is nothing but a pack of liars and I better get both of my credit score increases as promised or I would have never gone with this company. I would have continued on with what I was already doing this. This costing me an additional 6 months of payments. Additional moneys I have been lied and defrotted to and I want both score increases. Thank you.

I started with their "Partner," ******************** on Feb 26, 2022, I was informed to show that I was in desperate need of assistance that I should refrain from making payments to my creditors, which I thought was odd, but I went ahead with it. I had $22,117.00 into their plan, they "Saved" me $4,138 at no point in time was, I informed that this might come out to be taxed as income. However, I paid them $5,308.08 in fees. Now comes the interesting part I was contacted by a NDR representative being told how good Im doing, making my payments on time, and that I should be part of an accelerated program to graduate early and they didnt tell me anything more than the possibility that I could be sued if I chose not to go through with this where they could guarantee me the necessary funds to graduate me early I was not informed of the amount needed, and I found out that I was being sued by one of my creditors. NDR was able to provide me with Reach Financial...I was told to sign the document and send it back to them, and they would accept it, which they did right away to my surprise. I found out that I would be owing Reach Financial a principal balance of $12,011.07 to be paid over the course of 56 payments, which, by the way, they have an*beside the 56 to indicate that thats just an estimate. The issue is they never told me how much Id be owing them back. And over the course of this, I will be owing them a grand total of $19,852.30. This is very similar to the amount of debt I owed my creditors originally with NDR and now Im finding out that Im going to be paying this amount over time as well and whenever I called to complain about this predatory lending style, they blamed me and told me its not their problem. In case anyones interested, Reach Financial was previously Liberty Lending and the *** of ********************: ***************************** is now the *** of Reach Financial. I find this to be predatory and demand something be done with these crooks!

Reach Financial is always taking payments from your account 2 days before they are due. You have set payment dates that are set up for auto pay. Example- a payment is taking from my bank account today (9/23/23) and payment is due 9/25/23. Due date is a Monday and is not a bank holiday. This happens constantly from them. I have previous transactions to prove they take out auto-pay earlier than the date due.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

It is still happening. I have attached a screen shot from today of them taking from my bank account (10/7) and payment is due 10/10.  Payments are to be taken out in the 10th and 25th each month.  This is what happened on 9/23 and was due on 9/25. The banks are open on the days they are due and there is no reason for early withdrawal from my bank account.  These are not the only 2 times it has happened.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

They sent me $100 gift card as a resolution and checking with their team on ACH setup between them and my bank. Obviously it still happened with taking payment earlier than due date. On their website, it states that ACH payments will be taken on the dates agreed and if lands on a holiday, then will be taken the following business day. My payment dates are the 10th & 25th.

My loan amount is increasing to the point that my total amount is higher than my initial loan amount regardless that I have made all of my payments on time. My loan amount has increased by $1,302 despite 2 regular payments a month. This is predatory. Not only is my principle not going down, it is increasing.
