I *********************** live at the address [**** **** *************************** *********] *************************** who was head of household after the death of our Mother ************************* relocated a year or so ago. During that time I contacted Manhattan North Management to confer about theyre reasons first for removing me off the lease illegally without my knowledge nor consent which caused me serious turmoil, and psychological trauma of being evicted after I was just publicly shot in this neighborhood. I spoke with ****************** she was very unprofessional over the phone. She refused me coming to her office multiple times, but with time communicating with her thangs began to sooth out. It felt like there was no support whatsoever, and she threatened to throw me on the streets. She never returned any of my calls I always had to contact her. When *************************** moved out immediately I informed Manhattan North Management on what was transpiring, and for them to take action. Instead they kept charging me the same rent rate as if she was still living in the unit which was $1,131.00 per month as reported on (September 01, 2021) by Manhattan North Management at that particular time. The rates went higher as they procrastinated with signing the agreement for the new lease leaving me to cover the remaining balance of $9,157.00 when it was all said, and done. Upon signing the new lease on (April 21, 2022) several months after the rent had accumulated even more. They finally removed her off the lease, and proceeded to adjust my rent to $0.00 due to recent reviews of my income. I kept Manhattan North Management updated with everything to remove this debt. I applied for the emergency assistance program being that Im unemployed with no income due to my unfortunate accident. I made an appointment with ********************** located on (*********************) in the recertification department. The staff there was very unpleasant belligerent, and ghetto. Unprofessionalism should not be allowed in a work space. While waiting on the decision from (ERAP) Manhattan North Management sent me a Late Rent Notice. When an inspection was due in our building they go to everyones apartment to make sure everything was okay for this big inspection. After the inspection no one could be reached. I have a critical case of mold in the bathroom all they did was paint over it carelessly, and it came right back. It was a ***** job like some of our tenants received in the past. May I also add I have a daughter that lives with me name ********************* shes 6 years of age. Theres severe water damage done to the floor in the bathroom, and under the kitchen sink where it continue to leak after they was supposed to address the issue.
