I received a notice from ******** that Fab Lab Technologies, LLC of ********, ** had filed three claims in October of ****************************************************************** for the detection of RSV. I have NEVER had a VISUAL test, except in my doctors' offices, and none were related to detecting RSV, as I've never had it or suspected of having it. ******** was advising me that all three claims were denied. I saw on the news that the government was offering free at home COVID-19 tests for the household. I searched online and found the website **************************** advertising the $0.00 at home test delivery. After filling out the required information in September 2024, I received no email/tracking information for the 4 tests. The 4 test arrived on different days in late October 2024. FastLabTech has since billed my insurance company multiple times on 9/17, 9/21, 9/26, 9/26, 10/3, and 10/6 for $325.00 each time and the insurance company has denied all visits. This company leaves no information on their website to contact support and is falsely advertising $0.00 at home COVID-19 Test delivery.Initial Complaint

In the last three months I was solicited to order ONE Covid test. Three came. They lack part of the equipment. They are totally useless and if this company bills the government or insurance, it is purposefully fraudulent.The company should be closed down by now, its known to be illegally run. This company advertised free Covid test kits with insurance then tried to charge my insurance company $325 apiece for the kits which I couldve bought at the local pharmacy for $12. We aren't trying to false advertise our service and we are not in anyway affiliated with the government and their free covid testing. As long as you meet the requirements set by your insurance company you can expect a $0 out of pocket cost for your covid test after you speak to a physician. Without insurance, it will cost $325. After May 11, 2023, while COVID-19 lab tests are generally covered under health insurance policies, you may have to pay a deductible, copayment, or coinsurance (cost-sharing) depending on your specific health insurance policy. You must check with your insurer as to whether your particular plan imposes cost-sharing on the patient for COVID-19 lab tests and/or for an outpatient visit with a medical professional relating to COVID-19 diagnosis or treatment.
Our COVID-19 test kits are free of charge provided that you have a valid and eligible insurance, you wont be paying out of your pocket. Once verified eligible, you will receive your test kits and your insurance will cover for you and your insurance will pay Fast Lab. If verified ineligible no test kits will be sent to you.
Rest assured that we will continue to work with your insurance company with regards of this claim and as long as your insurance is active and up to date there will be no charge to you. Your insurance company will pay Fast Lab and we will not be billing you for any balance.

I ordered 4 Covid tests in July for future testing from Fast Labs, who advertised FREE test kits, providing I had insurance, which I did. I'm 71 and am wanted to keep some tests on-hand because Covid was ramping up in ** during the summer. I fortunately didn't need them, and then received notification that my insurance and ******** denied the claims for the tests. I have since learned that if the tests were not used or returned within 7 days, the consumer would have to pay the cost of the tests. This information was not on the order forms I filled out and feel that this was a SCAM. I didn't see the notice about the time limit until yesterday, when I needed to test. Taking advantage of the elderly in this environment should not be legal. I notice that I'm not the only one having this problem, so I hope they will be investigated.Business Response
