    Winit is a scam website. They sent me a email out of the blue saying that they fought a ticket for me and that I owed them money. They kept calling my phone non stop and emailing me constantly. I never at any point hired them or engaged their services. Now they are threatning me that if I dont pay them they will put me in collections. They are completely a fraud service that just blindly billa unsuspecting consumers who may or may not have got a ticket. I never got notified from City of ** that I had a ticket so how did they fight a ticket that I never got. Completely flase deceptive company. I plan to file a complain with the Distirct attorney's office to make them aware of this fraud.

    This free feature allows you to monitor and dispute any parking tickets your vehicle and registered plates receive on a weekly basis. A lot of users and companies love this feature in order to save them for potential late fees and booting. You can always turn on or off this feature from your profile at any time.

    When our system finds a new parking ticket associated with your registered plate(s), we send you an email and push notification about the upcoming dispute. We also provide a 48-hour window for you to cancel the dispute if you are no longer interested to use our services.
    Our system found the ticket ID: ********** associated with your registered plate ****** on August 1st, 2024, and we emailed you about the next steps. The ticket was dismissed on August 29th, 2024, and our team made attempts to collect our fee.

    I never gave this company permission to fight my ticket. I went to dispute a ticket that I had proof of and nyc would not allow me saying that win it sight already fought and lost my ticket. I didn't ask them to do anything. I went on the sight trying to find out what is going on and with no luck. I do not want them having my info or doing anything with my plate or anything else. Now I have to pay for a ticket I can't afford to pay for that I had proof that the ticket was false. I do not want this company doing anything on my behalf and I can't find out how to have them stop. This is a scam sight.

    They are a scam site in my opinion and parasites that advertise Parking Ticket Payments - Pay Your Parking Ticket Online" so as lead you to their site which looks similar in color and style to the official site so you end up paying them a 12% charge to do what you can do for free at the real site: They have fine print notices but are not listed on the opening screen and you have to scroll down to read them. Not only do you pay them a fee, your ticket is not immediately paid you just receive a notice that your "payment is being processed"When I received an email and no payment confirmation I got worried contacted the number they provided over 10 times (no answer) left messages, used the text number they provided and no response and finally I emailed the company and no response neither. I wanted to pay my ticket directly with NYC parking ticket, I honestly did not know this site was not directly them until I got the email and then it's stated in very small print. This is not okay and should be addressed. I paid fees more than I should have and no confirmation number. I just want my funds to be refunded so I can pay directly with NYC parking violations.

    Person with an ****** accent called me and said that I was in trouble due to backed up tickets. Which is a lie. These are scammers with the number **********

    A deceptive site appearing to be payment site for *** traffic camera violations. Change a $5.00 fee that *** does not Charge. A misleading scam site, taking advantage of a terrible *** Ticket Camera program.

As part of our parking ticket dispute offering, we give our users the option to pay their parking tickets via Winits online portal and mobile app which many of our users find convenient. We make no secret of the fact that we are a private entity and that we are not affiliated with *** (or any other municipality) on our website. In fact, we have clear disclaimers on our website and an actual checkbox on the checkout page stating that we are not affiliated with any city.     My complaint has to do with their listing themselves, so as to be the first response, if you ****** the email address on the back of the summons. Their page is similar to the citys page. As a result, an unwary consumer, like me is led to believe they are on the city website. They do no service that would not be done for free by the city, and charge the consumer, a 20% premium for what the city would do for free. And they do not even pay immediately, so you are not assured that the summons has been paid as quickly as possible, and may suffer penalties due to a delay caused by this business.  Their response is unsatisfactory.  It is the same saccharine response they have given before. It is polite, but meaningless. I believe they are trying to abuse the system by giving the same response so that the complainant grows tired of responding and ultimately they succeed in having the complaint administratively filed, because there was no response. We can keep doing this if they like.

    Company WIN IT submitted a dispute on my behalf to the *** parking without my permission. Im not able to show proof and dispute my ticket due to this company and theyre deceitful business practices using phishing equipment to obtain ticket information from unsuspecting customers and submitting disputes without their permission or knowledge. Win It initiated this dispute on 2/17/2023 and I contacted them on Thursday 2/23/2023 when I was not able to dispute my ticket # ********** and as of today I still cannot dispute on my own behalf because of Win It predatory practices and dishonest initiative and dishonest business practices.Please fine them due to the distress caused by their actions because of this I will occur penalties that will be added due to delays of not being able to dispute the ticket myself.Thank you,***********************

    Because you reached out to us after the 48 hours free cancellation window, the *** had already been scheduled with the city which prevents you from disputing the ticket on your own. As a result, the only option available to us at this time to ensure you had a positive experience with WinIt was to pay for your ticket fine. We did pay USD $115.00 for your ticket on Feb 17th, 2023.

    As a result, your original USD $115.00 parking ticket was fully paid by WinIt. We also turned off the auto dispute feature on your account on your behalf to avoid any future confusion.

    I received a *** school zone speed camera violation for $50.00 (Violation # **********, violation date 09/01/2022). On 09/11/22 I attempted to go onto the *** **** of ******* (NYCDOF) website to pay it online. I didn't realize that I was somehow redirected to the payment page of a third party site (****************************) for paying *** tickets called WinIt. It's possible I may have erroneously clicked on the wrong link, but I read reviews by other people who were also somehow redirected to the WinIt site. When I entered only my *** license plate # to search for my ticket, the website generated the correct violation #, the $50.00 amount, and other correct details about my ticket ( I think my name and the nature of the violation). Satisfied that I was paying via the NYCDOF site, I didn't page down to see the disclaimer that WinIt is not affiliated with ***. I entered my credit card # and submitted payment of $56.49 ($50.00 + $4.99 tax + $1.50 processing fee). Immediately after paying, I felt something didn't seem right and realized my mistake. I went onto the real NYCDOF website and saw that they charge no tax and only $1.00 processing fee for credit card handling. Also they give the option of paying via electronic check with no fee. I was concerned that the Winit website was not legitimate and would not pay NYCDOF timely on my behalf. Since I wanted to keep a clean record with NYCDOF and avoid late fees I subsequently went on the real NYCDOF website and paid $50.00 via electronic check. I am now trying to get a refund from WinIt. I think the WinIt site is mainly used for assistance in disputing tickets, and as such should clearly indicate that undisputed tickets could be paid directly to ***. No such information is displayed. I have emailed WinIt requesting a refund of $56.49. I have uploaded the *** ticket, the email receipt from WinIt with our reply asking for refund, and the NYCDOF receipt.

    WinIt states clearly on every page of our website that we are not affiliated with any government entities. Per our terms of service, as well as the confirmation email which was sent at the time of the payment, we automatically refund any payments which cannot be completed as requested. This payment was refunded in full on 9/11/22 once it was verified that the fine for this ticket had already been paid. Attached is the official refund receipt.
