    I purchased a vehicle from Volvo Cars Manhattan on September 15th, 2023. I paid the full cost of the car in cash and did not finance any of the purchase. I provided full payment with a cashiers check the day of the purchase. Since then, it has been over ****************************************************************************************************** the *****************. The ******************* of ***** Vehicles doesn't allow cars to be registered if title certificates do not have first and last names fully spelled out, not initialed. The paperwork Volvo Cars Manhattan provided me have initialed names that are not fully spelled out. I have made multiple attempts to reach a manager at Volvo Cars Manhattan by phone and we have an email chain about this matter that is up to 39 emails over 2 months. They have tried filling out alternative forms to correct the problem, but the alternative forms were also filled out incorrectly.I would like Volvo Cars Manhattan to correct the title certificate or correctly fill out alternative forms that have been provided to them.

    In May, my 2023 XC40 was towed to Volvo Cars Manhattan to remediate a battery issue that was apparent when I tried to drive the car. Roadside assistance said the car was unsafe to drive, and towed the car to Volvo Cars Manhattan. The dealership technicians identified that my main battery was defective, and replaced the battery. The paperwork I received as summary of the service identified that the technicians also "performed total software update to ensure all modules are up to date" and "performed stand by current test" and after doing a full factory service check wrote that the "vehicle is now working as designed". One month later, I drove my car for the first time since servicing and the car broke down on the interstate 1 hour into my trip with the check engine and battery lights illuminating. The roadside assistance again told me the car was unsafe to drive and to have it towed to a nearby dealership. The second breakdown occurred on a Sunday, and Volvo Manhattan was not able to accept a tow drop off, thus I had to have the car towed to a dealership outside the city. When I called the Manhattan dealership to inquire about the issue, and ask for their help to follow up with the other dealership, I was told they cannot help because all dealerships are not connected and they do not communicate. I was shocked that Volvo, who advertises themselves as having excellent customer service, would require the customer to chase this issue. It's also shocking that Volvo, who also advertises themselves as being one of the safest car manufactures, would identify a car as safe to drive which clearly was not true.
