1 starI got an email on 4/5 saying my subscription was about to be processed, and to make any necessary changes before my order processed on 4/9. I went in on 4/5 and not only canceled my subscription, but pushed out my order date to October as a safety net. My order still processed on 4/9 and Function of Beauty refuses to give me a refund for the order that should've never gone through. I did everything I was supposed to do to postpone my order and they still processed it and refused to give me my money back. Will be filing a chargeback with my bank and throwing away whatever product they send me. Shady business practice. Do not recommend shopping with this company.Review fromJudy C

I am writing to express my disappointment with recent changes to my account and the overall customer service experience I have encountered as a long-time customer. I initially chose Function of Beauty due to the attractive perks, including a consistent 20% discount on every shipment and the opportunity to receive a free gift after four purchases. These benefits were significant factors in my loyalty to the brand. However, after the system change a few years ago, I was assured that my grandfathered perks would remain intact. Unfortunately, I have recently noticed a reduction in my discount from 20% to 10%, and the free gift incentive has been removed entirely. Additionally, I have not been receiving the usual shipment notification emails, which has caused further inconvenience. I reached out to customer service on two occasions but found that neither representative addressed my concerns effectively or acknowledged the promises made to me as a long-standing customer. This lack of support is disheartening, especially given my previous positive experiences with your company. It is disappointing to feel that the commitment to customer loyalty is no longer honored. I hope the company can address these issues promptly and restore my trust in their brand.Function of Beauty

1 starI noticed with the size changes you can no longer purchase 16oz bottles only 11 oz not only that they charge extra for the 11oz compared to the 16oz. Why is that? I also was looking at my purchase history I’ve been subscribed since 2021, they didn’t apply the members discount on some of my purchases and also there were different totals even though I purchased the same product. I love the quality of the shampoo and conditioner but errors in my purchases and also charging extra for less product is not okay. 1 starMy 12-year-old daughter placed an order on my iPad with function of beauty without my permission and an hour later I emailed help at function of beauty to cancel the order. I emailed twice as there was no phone number to call and the button to chat with us did not work. Three days later I got an email that they sent my order And still no ability to contact them to talk to anyone or cancel it. When I received the initial email for the order I should've had a link to be able to cancel it right away and there wasn't one and that is not right. 1 starI dont know why I continue to try to order from this place. They have double billed me twice. Customer service sucks! It takes forever to contact them and then they have no clue anyway. Now, they are telling me that I have to make my orders separate. Why? So they can rack up the non subscription and shipping charges. No thanks! 1 starIm very upset with the customer service I received. I was happy with the product, but the customer service was awful. My second order I received had purple shampoo, that didnt work for me, but again, I was happy with everything else. They said that they sent me an email days before reminding me of the order (they didnt), then sent me a confirmation of my order, of the day I had a family member pass away. They wouldnt refund the 1 item I requested to return, because I was dealing with family things. Just ridiculously poor customer service. I didnt want to return the whole order, just 1 item. Been a customer for 5 years and my orders run on an every 2 month basis subscription. My last order was charged December 20, **** and I never got an update about a tracking. I reached out on January 8, it took almost a week for their customer service to get back to me. They assured me my subscription would be shipped January 20th- an ENTIRE month since they first charged it I have automatic charges every TWO months so at this point Im running low on product. January 20th comes and still nothing, I reach out again, now asking for a refund as its now gotten to a point where I had to buy product elsewhere and no longer need my subscription. My order arrived the first of February, I never got a tracking link or info of it even being shipped. What I did receive was an email back AFTER it had been delivered saying they could not refund me as it was delivered. How is this okay? Very unsatisfying experience!!Function of Beauty

1 starI did not need an order so I pushed my date back. There was only one option to move the date so that is what I did. I then checked and it said that both my shampoo and conditioner (which is what I would order normally TOGETHER) was to be pushed to a date. 2 weeks later I get a charge for shampoo only. I reached out by email, online chat, and phone and NO ONE EVER ANSWERS. So now my order (that I did NOT ORDER) of shampoo that I do not want or need is coming my way and I DO NOT WANT IT! After it has shipped their customer service happens to get back to me to say that because its custom they cannot give me a refund. I DID NOT ORDER THIS!!!! And were was there an option to even split the order and only push back one because that is NOT what I could see on my profile. This company is a SCAM. They wait **** days to get back to you so they can claim some BS its custom and deny you a refund, when they are shipping product you dont even want or need. 1 starI have been a customer for more than a year and had no problems. However, for the last shipment, I received an email on 1/26/2024 stating that the product was delivered. I never received the product and have tried to reach the company multiple times via chat and email and but have received no response. Reaching customer service has been impossible. 1 starI placed an order on January 16, **** for myself and on January 19, ******************************************************* shipping information for either. I have emailed them multiple times and attempted to reach them via Instagram but received zero response. I am unable to receive my order or get my money back.
