    Nova Octo is supposed to be a high-end dress rental company however after placing an order the dress never arrived. When I emailed support no one responded and the phone number is disconnected. Had to call my bank to file fraud charges. Website should be shut down immediately.

    On May 10th, 2023 I picked three dress options for an upcoming event. I was told I would have a hold on my credit card for the full amount, but I would only be charged for the dress I wore. The overall charge was for $1,070, but the dress I selected only cost less than $300. I sent the dresses back after my event and kept waiting for my refund. I emailed back and forth with my stylist and another women who kept saying they see my refund coming through, they will reach out to the billing team again and like an idiot I just believed them, as nothing like this has ever happened to me before. What they really did was string out the process and kept responding long enough where I wouldn't think to dispute the credit card charge and it worked. After the 60 day period I couldn't get any response to my emails, no one replies to my voicemails and I was unable by this time to file a dispute with the credit card company. This place is a legitimate fraud and it aggravates me to see all these other complaints and realize they have been defrauding all these people and no one is stopping them! I am filing complaints on yelp and will proceed to file a report with the *** and FTC.

    They have admitted in emails to owing me $1,400 and been pretending to send me a refund since APRIL

    At this time, I have been contacted directly by Nova Octo regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because they just keep acknowledging that they owe me money but lying saying they are trying to process my refund. They haven't processed it and it's been months of feeding me these lies. They still owe me my money back.

    I attempted to rent a dress from this business for an event. I chose three to try on at home (their showroom is currently closed). It was explained that although they would charge me the rental fee of $1,160.98 for all three dresses, after trying them on, whatever didn't fit I could return to the vendor for a full refund of the rental fees. Two were sent and did not fit. The third was never sent. I contacted the business the day after I received the two dresses and arranged for a return, for which they provided a *** return label that I used. I was told subsequently that they had received the two dresses and had processed a refund for the total amount paid. I have followed up on multiple occasions because I have not been refunded the money. I am owed $1,160.98. I now see that I am not the first consumer to have this issue with this vendor.

    Date of transaction: July 14, 2022 Amount: $1,914.87 I was hoping to rent a gown from the company and I put down a deposit as required by the company. I was told by the company that if I did not like the dresses during the try on period that I would receive a full refund. After countless conversations and delays in shipping from Novo Octo I returned the gowns, with the promise of my full refund. After reaching out again numerous times waiting for my refund I have yet to receive it and Novo Octo will not return my calls or emails. I am happy to provide proof of emails if it is needed as well as bank statements. My hope is to resolve this issue by receiving my refund.

    February 2022 paid for a rental of two gowns.Returned them as required expecting a refund for the cost associated w/ the rental agreement. Have been in contact with them via email (customer service) twice w/ an acknowledgment they will respond. No response.Have called over 30 times, No response.Have now sent a registered letter which was refused at both the ** addresses listed on their website.Have asked for the correct address both by phone and in another email. No response.The bill was for slightly over $1,000. I don't know what else I can do.Please if you could help me w/ would be the most effective way to reach someone in Accounting or Billing, (which yes, again, I have asked and not been able to speak w/ anyone, or have a return call via the stylists who have taken my calls).Respectively,************************

    Nova Octo rents dresses. They charged my credit card for several dresses I tried on at home (as a hold). I selected one dress, which I rented for two events (10/23, 10/29). The cost was supposed to be $412. I was told the charges for other "try on dresses" would be canceled. After the event, I was told to leave the dress with my doorman for courier pick up. I did this on 10/31. On 11/8, I followed up because the dress hadn't been picked up. On 11/23, I followed up again because the dress still hadn't been picked up. The dress was finally picked up but I never received my final invoice. I emailed on 12/8 requesting a final invoice. On 12/13, the Company emailed that I would get a final invoice "today." On 12/15, I emailed again requesting a final invoice. On 12/18, the Company emailed that I would get a final invoice "tomorrow." On 12/26, I emailed again requesting that a manager call me immediately. No one from the Company has called me. I subsequently reviewed my credit card statement and saw a bill for $2,093.33, charged on 10/18. I have disputed $1,681.33 with my credit card company.

    The business has responded to my email to say that someone will be in touch with me "today" or "immediately." But no one every got in touch with me. I have disputed this charge with my credit card company, and they have honored my dispute. So my financial problem has been resolved, but the Company has not resolved the problem with me.

    I made a purchase from Nova Octo on August 2nd for $350. Invoice: ************* On September 13, I was notified that the package was on the way. Tracking: ****************** On September 23, I was notified that the package had been damaged in transit, and that they would issue me a full refund. I havent received any goods or refund from them. I have a full email exchange with them confirming that they would return the money, but I have yet to receive anything. At this point they wont answer my calls or my emails.

    I rented a dress from nova Octo July 30th for my wedding day august 26,2022. I received the dress on the 24th and noticed the dress was in horrible condition. I paid ****** to be exact and didnt want to wear the dress. I called and spoke with a Will and he was super apologetic and stated they would refund the money since I was unable to find a dress online that I wanted to use. Super huge inconvenience but luckily I had purchased another dress for my reception so I use that as my wedding dress. I mailed them the dress back immediately because there was nothing I could do with it. I have now contacted their store 4 times and everyone keeps giving me the run around about my refund. I still have not received my refund. I left a message and no one has called back.
