  No notice of charging my card or that I had a membership. Wouldn't refund me my money when I brought this to their attention. Sketchy scam.

  I joined and paid for a 6 month membership in January 2025. I played games and won so I went to do a payout. I requested a payout. Received the confirmation email to verify my email. I had issues verifying so I waited a couple of days and did it. I requested the payout on March 12, and then yesterday March 18th, I receive an email saying that my payout was cancelled due to system maintenance and not to request a payout until March 21. Any request before March 21 would be canceled. I have now canceled my subscription so it doesnt auto renew because if they cant pay out when I originally requested something bigger must be happening and I dont need to invest anything more to it. I will request a payout on March ************************************************************************************* some other reason. Just wanted to give a heads up to others who may try joining.

  This is a fun way to develop good habits. Ive not made a lot of money but if youre consistent in playing and finishing youll get your game investments back and make enough to cover your membership fees all the while going things to improve your wellbeing. Great app, fun activities that prompt me to take better care of myself. Whenever Ive emailed a question Ive gotten very quick and accurate responses. I have nothing but praise for this app!

  I am convinced now that this game is rigged. It is a great idea but it is rigged. This is for the StepBet game.My pedometer and Apple Health are closely related usually within a few hundred steps.Whenever I try to update between ***** pm it just spins and does not update. This only occurs if I have used my free days early in.My apple health then just spins and does not update.This has happened before. I am truly disappointed in this game now and will not recommend or return.

  It is false advertising. Every ad I have seen, they go "Dinner is on me tonight. I just won another game on Way Better and won $258." No one wins anything near that much. It is not worth it. The membership fee costs more than what you win because they jacked up the price from $15 for the 6 months to $69.00 for 6 months.Here are the winnings from my first few games (You also get your entry fee back that you had to pay to join the contest, which can be $10-100+, but this is the actually 'winnings'):Game 1 Winnings: $1.80 Game 2 Winnings: $0.22 Game 3 Winnings: $0.87 Game 4 Winnings: $1.34 That's only $4.23 for four games, when they advertise, "I won ONE game and won hundreds!" It is a scam. The 'membership' fee costs $5.30 for every two weeks, so if you max out and do 10 challenges every two weeks, you can maybe make a few dollars more than what they charge, but you don't actually earn any money at all.

While the winnings are a motivating factor, the ultimate goal is to help users develop healthy and sustainable habits. 

  In your case specifically, your game payments were $270, with a total winnings of $308.36 - with a profit of $38.36. While this does not compare to the referenced $258, your membership was cancelled within the refund period which would limit the length of time you had to accumulate  more winnings.

  I just joined and I think it's great. It's laid out very clearly how it works, but it appears that people have a hard time with reading comprehension- Its much cheaper than all the other weight loss apps, and putting your money nearly literally where your mouth is, is working for me, already...

  My money was stolen. I submitted my proof per usual during a game, my submission was accepted. The next day my submission disappeared. **************** said they couldnt prove I wasnt lying. I have literally an entire team of nurses who saw me submit it because I was excited about this app. I submitted all the physical proof that I had, which should have been sufficient to the company. And they flat out just took my money. This was not user error. This was company error followed by blatant thievery. Now I have a 70 dollar subscription for an app that cant be trusted and I lost my 50 dollar game submission. I could cry with frustration and disappointment. Terrible company. Absolute scam.

  Unfortunately, the user was unwilling to send ** the data we required to determine the eligibility of the submission to be applied toward their game. All we needed was for the photo to be sent directly because we have found that some of the information, such as the date stamp, can be stripped from a photo when it is simply attached to a reply - but if is emailed directly, that date stamp will still be visible. Without this data, we are unable to assist. The user was asked for this information three times and it was not provided. Despite this, as a courtesy, we issued credit for half of the game bet. We may have been able to offer a different resolution had the required information been provided as requested.

  I was looking for something different in the attempt to get some momentum to the weight loss. I gave some information but didnt know about the subscription at the cost of $69. I contacted them several times and finally got a reply. Basically no refund and they wont renew. I am upset because this was not my understanding

  Thanks for your review. In researching the matter, we see that we replied to inform we could not locate your account and required additional information. Without your account details, we were unable to find the charge to consider a refund.

  I really like gamifying things. It helps me a lot. I thought this would be like that but when I saw you have to BET real money on your weight loss. I was immediately turned off. I cancelling the subscription immediately and was still charged a week later. Really sketchy that you have to either use the app or email their support team to cancel or delete your account. Disputing the charge now but DO NOT give this company your money. You will be screwed over $70.

  Players have the option of selecting an accountability partner instead of using real money but it's possible this user hadn't noticed that. In regards to canceling, we do require users to either email us or cancel the membership via the app or their app store settings (depending on the method of signing up). Unfortunately, without this step, we wouldn't know *********** intention. We are always open to suggestions though :) This user did receive a refund on their charge.
