      Company is Makemytrip I purchased tickets online on January 3rd. My trip was suppose to flight from ****** ***** to ****, *********** and back in the ** on July 19th. I have sent documentation which detail the many changes done to the original flight documentation. I decided to call them a few days before the departure time and fix the mistakes that they had made. They have given me the runaround for the past 4 days by telling me that they needed 24 hours to rectify the problem. The day of the flight I still called them, but they did not issue any changes to my flights. They informed me that they would look into refunding the original price of the tickets, but are giving me the runaround again. I have read their reviews and realize that many travelers are getting scammed by this company.

      This complaint is regarding the Makymytrip.com through which I booked an international ticket and cancelled the return ticket which I did not get any refund back.1). Reservation number : 4LCBXJ between *** to *** ; AIR ***** confirmation Number: ****** E-ticket number : ************** * ************** Booking ID: ***************** Original ticket amount : 2,08,000 INR (~2600 Dollars)Original Refund committed amount : ~***** INR ( ~850 Dollars)*** -> *** : June 27, 2023 *** --> *** : Nov 15 , 2023 2). On 16th Oct 2023, we cancelled the return ticket from *** --> ***. We called up Makemytrip to cancel the ticket and agent promised us to return ~ ****** INR in 72 hours.3). We have been following up since then with Makemytrip and they have not been responsive regarding refund the balance. I did call them every single day since Nov 1st every day to check on the status for the refund and I have been mentally abused by the makemytrip by not providing the proper status on refund of the ticket.4), I also called up AirIndia to confirm if the refund is provided. ******** confirmed that they have already provided refund to makemytrip and since I booked the ticket through Makemytrip, I need to contact only them to receive the refund.5). I raised the ticket with makemytrip on 29th Oct, 2023 to look into this issue: *****************/ ***************** After numerous calls and email exchanges they told me that the revised amount to be ****** INR and at the end of the day they refunded ****** INR.Makemytrip has cheated me by not providing the refund as promised for the full return ticket for 2 passengers and this has caused tremendous stress on my health since last 5 months. I am 74 Years Old. I have also learned that MakeMyTrip has done this to many more customers in the past and do cheating to them by not providing the refund.I am looking for:1). Complete Refund on my Return ticket - ****** INR 2). MakeMyTrip.com business should NOT be allowed to do Business in US.

      I booked my air travel tickets through MakeMyTrip which I had to cancel it due to unforeseen medical issues. I have provided supporting documentation for the same but the company still doesn't bother to resolve the dispute on a timely basis. I have been in touch with them for over 10 times in the past 2 weeks but no update on the status from them yet. I contacted the airline directly but they are saying I have to go through MakeMyTrip but these guys are not off any help.

      At this time, I have been contacted directly by Makemytrip.com, Inc regarding complaint ID ********, however my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      Makemytrip keeps claiming that they have not received any feedback form the Airline yet. The airline on their part doesn't want to divulge any details saying that all the communication should go through the agent. Makemytrip does not want to include me on the communication with the airline which makes the process frustrating.

      Hello BBB I need immediate help with a ticket I booked through this online agency.I am traveling to ************************ for the first time.I booked my ticket through them and they gave me 2 different airlines Emirates from ***** to ****** and Virgin Atlantic from ****** to ******.I reached my destination and I just realized that this agent booked me through a different airport on my way back.I am landing at **************** and my other flight takes off from Gatewick airport.When making the booking, there was no where I was informed about this.To change airports I need a ** **** which I currently do not have so how can I take the other flight.Any airline while making a booking warns you about such changes I have called them multiple times, asked for supervisors but always the sane answer supervisors are busy.They promised to call back or email no help.Not only that to add the agents use different names to hide their real identities so every agent tells me they are not aware of the previous agent and one of them was good enough to tell me they dont use real names so no one is accountable.I am booked to return on August 10 and its hardly anytime.I have a child traveling with me too, I dont know what will I do after teaching **, just stay at the airport forever.I am requesting BBB to help me get in touch with this agent to make the necessary changes ASAP and rectify this issue please

      He reached out to our team for the date change/cancellation request for the return sector.
      Customer opted for the cancellation of the booking for all the passengers for the return flight.

      AED **** was refunded to the customer on *********.

      I made several reservationS thru MAKEMYTRIP for travel on ****** Airlines. The airline had schedule changes that were not acceptable to some travellers with us . They offered some full refunds and some partial refunds . ****** Airlines says they've sent the money back to MAKEMYTRIP but till now no refund has been processed to my credit card. No way to get an answer from MAKEMYTRIP

      My wife ************************* purchased two fully refundable tickets for her parents to travel from ***** to ** via ***** at MakeMyTrip.com on April 28 for $2,269.26 (Booking ID *********************. Few hours after purchase, we realized that there are two different airports at *****, which is not possible to use. I called Make My Trip and they immediately canceled the ticket and promised to refund the amount. After six months of back and forth with Make My Trip, they have refunded only $764.4 to the credit card and $1478.86 to Make My Trip Wallet money that can only be used on their website. We have been asking them to refund the money to the original mode of payment. In the attached email from Airlines, they mentioned that that they never collected any funds from Make My Trip as the ticket was immediately canceled. I called Make My Trip several times and every time a new agent on phone says matter will be resolved in 1-2 days but nothing happens. As you can see in the attached email, Make my trip keeps on asking for same information again and again or keeps saying they will refund in few days, but nothing happens.We are stuck and our $1504.86 is still not received. Kindly help to get the refund from Make My Trip. We cannot use the money refunded to their wallet money (usable at their website only).

No.2: ******************** Name of ***. ***********************, ***********************, *****************************, ******************************* and **************************We had booked 7 return tickets for the sector ****** to ******** on Spice Jet through Make My Trip on 5th September 2022. The departure date was 28th October 2022. The total amount paid was Rs. *******. The intention was to reach ******** (also known as *****) and make a road trip to ******** for visiting a specific temple there as per our family tradition. The tickets were booked under the impression that the road trip will take 28 minutes as per ****** search. Screen shot below. 28 min (**** km) via ***********/**********************/*****************.After booking the tickets one of realized that there are two ****** in ***** and the road trip to ******** from ******** (*****) will take more than 10 hours one way. After realizing our mistake that this ***** is not ********, we immediately called Make My Trip customer service and explained the situation to them. The customer service agent by the name of ****** assured us that as the cancellation request is within 24 hours of booking therefore only Rs. ***** per ticket will be deducted and the rest will be refunded. After reconfirming the same with the agent again, we agreed to put the cancellation request. We followed up with couple of other agents viz., *****, ********, ****** and ******** for next couple of days and were assured that the refund is in process. The money finally refunded was Rs. ****** and Rs. ****** was deducted by MMT.We checked out the cancellation policy of Spice Jet and it mentions that there is zero cancellation charges if the ticket is cancelled within 24 hours.       I , ***********************, booked ticket for myself for flight on AUG ************************************************************************** - ******* -*******( JL-****)- business class - PNR 2EEFT6 - Through Makemytrip.Booking ID- ******************** When I reached ************* on aug 22nd - I found Japan airline has cancelled that flight- no one was available at airport from Japan airline for explanation and no one was available to help with rebooking. As I had to fly - I bought Asiana airline ticket on *************** to *********** - economy ticket - (32 hrs total time) - cost me same as my business class Japan airline ticket. Upon arriving to *** I found email- japan airline booked me for Aug 23rd- Tuesday and emailed me that I was no show.In case of flight cancellation - airline should issue full refund with apology - but that did not happen instead blaming me for no show for next day flight. Also no one was available at ************* to provide rebooking details on aug 22nd as I mentioned, also no arrangement for stay at ***** or food voucher- in case airline decide to rebook them in flight 24 hrs later. There were similar passengers like me. I contacted airline in feedback form but did not get any response. I also contacted makemytrip.com through which I booked ticket- said airline is not giving you full refund. With airline fault and change in schedule - customer should not be suffering.

      Had booked flight ticket on make my trip for my parents. They completed one leg of the trip ie from MUM -*** on Mar 28 2022. However due to some unavoidable circumstances they cannot fly back on return date i.e Aug 19 2022 .Make my trip is not ready to issue any refund even though ****** airlines and ticket clearly states that there is cancellation fee and they will issue refund. This is not non refundable ticket. Make my trip can deduct cancellation fee and issue refund by deducting amount mentioned in ticket. But they are not willing to do so.       *************** PNR: UKSELA MakeMyTrip: *************** I, ***** ***** booked tickets of *************** through MakeMyTrip for ********************** and *** **** ************************* to travel to ******* from ********* via ********* 19th March 2020. ** 14th March 2020, ** President banned flights from ** and Europe starting 16th March 2020. Telephone lines of both *************** and MakeMyTrip were busy before the travel date after continuously trying for many hours Due to the ***** travel ban, my parents could not travel, *************** marked my parents as "No Show" while the ** president-imposed travel ban starting 16th March 2020? Since, *************** was not operating from ***** during the lockdown, and I was assured through email from MakeMyTrip (attached) that I can make changes to dates, so I did not pursue this further with *************** and MakeMyTrip. I waited for almost a year for the lockdown to get over so that my parents could travel to ***. *************** was not part of the bubble agreement, so *************** flights from ***** to *** was not operational for many months. Unfortunately, my father passed away due to covid in April 2021. I then reached out to MakeMyTrip for refund as we did not want our mom to travel alone during pandemic as she is over 70 years and has medical issues. During this email communication I came know from MakeMyTrip that my parents were marked as "No Show" in the *************** system so, I cannot get the refund or change the dates. I then reached out to *************** directly through *************** portal (Case reference is:*********, after explaining them the situation again, the response was the same. I started another communication with MakeMyTrip on Oct 28th, 2021, after multiple back and forth, MakeMyTrip responded that my mother can change the travel date, but they will neither refund the amount for my dads (deceased) ticket nor allow us to change the passengers name or destination.
