    Purchased a voucher from Travelzoo for afternoon tea at *******************-Sofitel in ************. $75 for 4 people. The morning of tea my granddaughter was ill and only 2 of us were able to attend. ******************* packaged the additional scones, sandwiches and desserts for us to bring home. Also included was champagne or mamosa, which was a wonderful surprise! Everything went as in print from Travelzoo. We had a wonderful afternoon and will definitely look for more specials. Thanks Travelzoo!

    I had a wonderful trip that they booked themselves to Ireland. It was a real bargain. The problems are with other companies they list. Exotica, for example, had a terrible reputation. I would have no problem booking directly with travelzoo but would be wary or other companies

    I canceled a hotel stay well before the term provided and Travelzoo somehow didn't cancel as they didn't see it on my account. They are saying that I am responsible and that they have a 'recording' with proof but won't share it. This place is really poorly run. Steer clear.

    I contacted Travel zoo about a vacation I bought from an advertisement on their site. I explained how the company was fraudulent and saw the other bad reviews for UTO vacations and they continued to advertise these vacation packages for UTO Vacations knowing they would take the clients money and then cancel the trip and then not want to give a refund. Travel zoo advertises these fraudulent travel agencies, knowing they arent legit.

    *****, sold trips they knew they couldn't provide and kept our ******** and my cousin purchased a vacation package from UTO Vacations that was advertised . we sent them the first two deposits as requested by the company . We completed all requested documentation. I started researching **** requirements only to find ***** was requiring a mandatory 14-day isolation at your own expense when entering the county. Our whole trip was only 10 days. UTO was aware of this requirement when they advertised and sold the travel packages. When I contacted ************ their response was sorry, you will have to take a credit and use toward a package that costs thousands more. When I explained we didn't want credit we wanted a refund they refused. As of this date, 05/26/23, we weren't even given a credit. They have been contacted numerous times. **** ** * ******* **** ** **** *** ******* My cousin and I are frequent travelers who will never book with ************ again. Take this as a cautionary tale and do your own due diligence instead of trusting ************ for future travel needs. All they are doing is bait and switch . If there was a place for zero star i would of score

    DO NOT GIVE THIS COMPANY ANY OF YOUR MONEY--IT'S A SCAM! I bought a trip to ***** through TravelZoo with UTO vacations. I made sure to read the fine print, and I purchased the trip assured that I could change the trip dates as long as it fell within the trip date window (2023-2024). The trip was purchased in full in January 2022. ***** changed some of their travel restrictions, but because my trip was booked out for 9 more months, I wasn't too concerned. When I went to take advantage of the ability to push back the trip, I was placed on hold for HOURS! I even tried chatting with their online assistant (as suggested by the pre-recorded voice on the phone), I still received no assistance. UTO is claiming they sent an email in February with new ***** guidance. I never received said email. They won't respond to any of my inquiries. They STOLE MY MONEY with no intention of compensation or credit or anything. BEWARE: TRAVEL ZOO AND UTO VACATIONS IS A SCAM. DO NOT SPEND ANY MONEY WITH THEM.

    Wanted to warn others in case you fall for this companys scam. I booked a trip with UTO vacations recommended by TravelZoo in July of 2022 to travel to ***** and ***** in January 2023. After reaching out to them to see if they plan to update my reservation given the ***** travel restrictions I was told to look for an alternative trip or wait and see if there restrictions are lifted. After trying to get a refund and being told the reservation is non refundable I asked if the trip was still on when the quarantine restrictions were lifted and got no answer. I reached out to UTO vacations via phone, chat, and email to see about rescheduling the trip and havent heard back from them. I also reached out to Travelzoo multiple times without any help from them. Basically I am out $1,400. The whole thing felt like a scam. As they sold the trip without mentioning the quarantine requirements in *****. And then never responding to reschedule my trip.

    I booked a trip that TravelZoo advertised as fully refundable which was the only reason why I chose it. Their promotion link sent me to a different travel agency that TravelZoo partnered with. I thought I could trust them so I booked. Fast forward, 9 months, this travel agency refused to refund me for a trip regarding a COVID-19 quarantine situation. I talked to TravelZoo mentioning the FULLY REFUNDABLE portion and they made up lies telling me it was a "no-fee change" policy not fully refundable. Neither TravelZoo, their partner or my bank would give my money back. Now, when I try to rebook using the travel credit, their partner is charging me double even though I researched and could travel myself for half the price. No one would take blame. Stay away. TravelZoo doesn't vet their partners.

    Scammed by Travel ********* hotel partner. Deal of the Day is no deal - BUYER BEWARE!Purchased $5,000 in vouchers for a hotel (5 nites) in ****. Upon arrival we were hit with an additional 30% in taxes over $1700. Then we were forced to purchase the all inclusive for my son who has celiac disease. Even though he did not eat at any of their establishments. Was told from hotel that I have to go through travel zoo for resolution. After reaching out to travel zoo multiple times I was told that is the hotels policy and they cant help. Will never purchase anything from Travel Zoo again & will make sure I let **************** know the same.

    This organization and the travel agencies it partners with provide horrible service. I've spent months trying to resolve an issue with an agency that was part of Travelzoo's promotion and not only has the cost of my trip continued to climb, the customer service was abysmal. I had to send emails, make repeated phone calls, to get my travel documents 8 days before my trip overseas. The most galling was calling the customer service line multiple times a day for months only to have someone pick up the phone and immediately hang up.I would never recommend Travelzoo or it's partner ************** to anyone!!!!
