    THEY DO NOT DESERVE 1 START, THE DESERVE 0!!!! I will never use again Trivago again. While I was making a reservation my card was declined, only because I locked the card and forgot. I unlocked the card immediately and went back to continue the reservation to find out after I booked it changed the date I requested. I called the hotel and told them I wouldn't be there that night. When I did check in 3 nights later, the hotel told me Trivago placed the reservation through *******. The hotel did not pay *******, they cancelled the reservation. Trivago has the money and their customer service is worthless. The hotel I stayed at told me to give Trivago a specific email for them to respond to to prove I didn't stay and no funds were collected. The hotel said Trivago knows butter and I'm getting the run around. I have emailed and called with no resolution. The hotel was great but never will I book through Trivago again, they simply kept my money for no reason except to line their pockets

    Absolute scam of a company with no morals at all . I called less than 5 minutes after I made a reservation because I was charged roughly 262 dollars in fees for a 376 dollar 2 night reservation totaling 636 dollars roughly. I called thinking there was a mistake and they informed me that there was no cancellation or refund and there was nothing I could do. I called the ************* and they really didnt care and hung up on me . Do not do business with the Trivago / getaroom.com. These people are pathetic.

    Absolute garbage site, a scam to get your credit card and personal information. Showed a hotel available and I put in all the needed info and then was told it was sold out--and that I'd had an account created, which I did NOT consent to. My husband had called the hotel earlier and they said they had no reservations, so when I saw availability on Trivago we thought a cancellation had come up. They purposefully put a hotel up as available as a way to steal your personal information!STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
