1 starTerrible, they would send me a video, showing me how my teeth would turn out, but they never did. I started out with great hope. Took quite a few years instead of just six months. My bite still not as comfortable as when I began the treatment. They had me cut my aligners so only my front teeth were covered. They did this hoping that my back teeth would go back into place. When I finally called them to get retainers, realizing this is as good as its going to get., they said they no longer made them.And now I would have to pay an orthodontist. They also said they sent me an email which I never saw. Of course they couldve phone me and let me know that they were going to discontinue that service and then I couldve gotten retainers before they quit. Im a very disgruntled client because I paid for retainers, I never received. That is fraud.Review fromvarun a

1 starThis company is a total scam. In ********************************************************************************** six months. Sounded too good to be true but I gave it a shot. Here I am with four years into the treatment several refinements my treatment still hasnt been finished. The support person Im working with me isnt helpful either as they are reading the script given to them company is no longer doing business with clients directly and its business to business. To rake more money through local dentists, Candid has totally betrayed their older patients and looking to make more money for the same aligners through Dentists. Previously Dentists were losing money due to patients going directly to Candid but now its the other way around. With no end to my treatment in sight, ** simply doing the remote scans on 3 weeks basis and get a your teeth looks great message back. Upon requesting an update from support, I get your orthodontist has requested you to wear your trimmed aligners for another 2-3 months. This is the second time Ive waited before requesting an update and I keep getting the same message. They just dont want to deal with customers directly. I would not recommend candid to anyone. It was supposed to be a very personalized experience. But I don't really feel like it wasn't all. Just based on the fact that a Doctor never reached out to me to check on me until I had to say. Oh I have a problem, and they've given me a response. But the response was always keep moving Onto the next aligner. Or take a step back and wear that for another week. Even after having no more movement, they would Expect. me and move to the next aligners step. After finishing my first round of treatment with huge gaps Between the aligner and Teeth. I. Was told I had to pay a $100 for a special scanning treatment. Well, I ended up doing the scaning treatment a few times until I had moved houses and I lost the scanner set by the time I found the sat and got hold of the company with the new scans of my teeth they had dropped my case. Literally thousands of dollars down the drain.and years of time wasted I now live with a fear that 1 or my front teeth are going to actually fall out. Because it has been about a year since I spoke with the company and was told to get the most usage out of my liners Before giving up. They would no longer be able to receive scans of my teeth anymore or help me with my treatment. Unless I paid for a new full round of treatment with a in person orthodontist. Since they have phased out the at home treatment plans.Candid

I purchased my aligners with candid Co. MY teeth are NOT where they should be and the company stopped my process and said thanks. They gladly took my money $2,000 but won't finish or refund me my money. I'm a single income family I trusted candid and their company to fix my overbite and teeth. I couldn't have taken my money and got braces but candid had great reviews. But that was a lie. They need to make this right and refund me my money for incomplete services.Candid

I purchased into the candid aligner program for my orthodontic needs, to straighten my teeth. I was informed by the company that now after completing the treatment they are suspending all online and mail to order aligner trays for the future. However, they stated at the beginning of my treatment that aligners need to be replaced every 6 months so 4 aligners would only get me 2 additional years of treatment, meanwhile I have to have retainers now for the rest of my life to maintain ************. They said the only option was to seek treatment with my dentist. Candid informed me that they need to close my case without a closer. I reached out to the company to get my money back since they said they would email me for a refund but they never did. I would have to start over to maintain my smile and that what they promised was no longer available but I have not heard anything back and it has been over a week. So now I am out almost 2 thousand dollars and I have to pay that, or maybe more to get on a new treatment plan.Candid

Had crowding in adult teeth - even following adolescent orthodontics. Candid said I was a "good candidate" and treatment would take 9 months. I started June 2021. After 3 boxes of aligners (2 re-evaluations), almost 2 years, and multiple treatment extensions - I quit Candid and my teeth are still not straight. I followed all of their suggestions, completed my scans on time, and always wore my aligners. It cost me over $2000. My bite is now uncomfortably off. I visited an actual orthodontist this past summer and now restarted actual brand-name Invisalign. It's going to cost me 18months and almost $6000 to fix what Candid did. I tried to contact them via phone, email, etc. trying to ask for even a partial refund. I was told my case would be looked into but multiple attempts to follow up since have been met with radio silence. I even tried writing to their ** HQ office but the mail was returned. I'm at a loss - disappointed and frustrated. Go with a legit ortho - it's safest and best.Candid

Candid's Negligence Stalled My Treatment for Months I signed up with Candid to improve my smile through clear aligner therapy. Unfortunately, the experience has been anything but candid. As experienced multiple times with several steps, the aligners lost all snugness and stopped advancing my teeth. I reached out to Candid repeatedly, but they ignored my requests for moving to new aligners. I have now been stuck wearing the same loose, ineffective aligner for more than 3 months. Candid's team has been unresponsive and refused to take action to get my treatment back on track. Their negligence has caused profound delays, jeopardizing my entire treatment plan. I have made every effort to work with them to diagnose and resolve this issue to no avail. It is unacceptable that Candid allows their aligners to rapidly lose effectiveness but does nothing to remedy the situation. For a company that promises candid, affordable and accessible orthodontic treatment, they have failed to deliver. I caution others considering Candid - the low cost may seem appealing, but you risk your treatment stalling with no recourse. I expected better patient care and urgency from an orthodontic provider. Do not make the same mistake I did. After months of frustration, I am beyond dissatisfied. Candid must address how they will prevent this unacceptable negligence and lack of response from happening to other patients.Candid

I started Candid in *******, **. I moved to *******, ** and continued the program. I was religious in my adherence to the program. After I went to my retainer - again following their protocol, my teeth moved. After several back and forth emails they basically told me - sorry.I would use Invisalign. All Candid cares about is getting your money.Candid

I was so excited in the beginning and I Spent $2000 up front. After receiving my retainers, I noticed that they were cracking. The plastic pieces did not fit properly or securely after the 1st set. Every new set I put on began to crack in places in order to fit. I was told that it was normal when I called to inquire about it. Then after a few weeks, I started noticing my teeth were chipping off at the ends and it would fall out in the retainers. I sent emails to candid and even spoke to a lady on the phone but she shamed me, and told me that my situation was unheard of. She said I must have been doing it wrong because no one else has ever complained. She went on to upcharge me $99 each for every retainers that cracked, and told me I needed to start over. After going to an orthodontist, he suggested I stopped using them that it appeared as though I was suffocating my teeth as to the reason they were chipping and that it wasnt healthy to force the retainers to fit especially if they were cracking. I asked Candid for a refund, and I have never heard from them again. I felt hopeless, I felt shamed, and I felt scammed. I even made great ****** reviews for them initially because I was excited and believed they would work and allowed them to have access to the ******* views my account of ****** receives. It is unprofessional and disrespectful to call me someone else's name, especially a females name. I don't appreciate automated general responses that are copy and pasted.
