The parking garage at *** * **** ** in Manhattan has repeatedly created damages to my car. After filing several complaints, the claims manager Claudia offered to send my car to their auto body shop to have the damages repaired. The car was sent to the body shop and came back with more damages, along with several personal items of mine missing or broken in the car. I've then asked for a complete reimbursement of the cost it would take to fix the car at a different body shop, as well as the expenses accrued during this whole ordeal, which amount to $698.83. They've now stopped responding to my calls and emails and I cannot get in touch with anyone in the company to resolve this issue.Initial Complaint

I am a monthly parking customer at the ************************************************************************************************************. Through one of the parking garage's managers, this company has informed me that the garage is closing and I need to remove my vehicle immediately. They called me on Tuesday, 8/24/2021 and gave me until 8/26/2021 to remove my vehicle. I am currently travelling out of the country and cannot remove my vehicle in this time frame. In addition, I have paid my monthly fee in full for this month's parking and have not received any information regarding this closing, how my monthly parking subscription/payment/refund will be handled nor if I will have an opportunity to transfer to a different location. I have been reaching out repeatedly, and left messages, over the past two days to their customer service line, ************, their monthly parking line, ************ as well as the garage number and have not spoken with anyone or received a call back.Business response

Good Morning,
As of August 30th, 2021, Icon Parking will no longer operate the parking facility on ******* **** *** ******* ***********************, our Account Relationship Manager, spoke with the account holder, *******************************, today. The customer's account has been transferred to Merit Parking LLC, located on ***********************. He will be moving the vehicle to the new location today.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me and the matter has been resolved. This company took the time to reach out to me to resolve this issue. Although I am still frustrated with the lack of communication regarding this issue, I am pleased with their response & solution at this time
