    Payments were consistently arriving to my bank late which cause them to call me for collection including a late fee that I had to pay. Not a convenience in any way. They even wanted to charge me a cancelation fee. I do not recommend this service. Bank portals can almost all set up auto pay in similar manner. Not shocked that most reviews are 1/5. Adds no value only hassle.

    Worst experience. I would never use Uptempo again and I urge everyone I know to avoid. Uptempo continued to charge me after I purchased a new vehicle and completely paid off their loan. It was a total headache to get my money back and they are impossible to communicate with. Not worth the time saved on the loans. STAY AWAY

    I got suckered into dealing with this place. Very deceitful business practices. Dealer never went over details with me and after 80 days of negative remarks on my credit, they still took ***** cancelation fees which they were not entitled to. Be forewarned, they will wreck your credit and steal your money.

    I purchased a Jeep Compass from ************************ / ***** in *******************, ** just recently. After being treated rudely by the business manager I was told I "had to go through Uptempo " to pay my payments through. I could do monthly or bi-weekly payments, which is great! I get a notice from TD auto finance to set up my account through them (whom the vehicle is actually financed through. I also can set up the same payment plan through them. I've called Uptempo everyday since I purchased the vehicle (3 times a day to be exact), no answer each time by anyone there. Was given the option to leave a message to have someone call me back. Did just that, no call back. This seems extremely sketchy to me. When I did this, I was told in order to purchase the vehicle I had to use Uptempo. I agreed. I was given no explanation of program fees were presented up front by the dealership or Uptempo.

    Hello *****: As a bank-sponsored payment service, we are a partner to our Dealerships who offer Uptempo as a benefit at time of your new Auto purchase. Our program must be activated with our Customer Support team after enrollment at the dealership to complete your account active and activate your program. On June 3rd we see you left a voicemail asking for Uptempo to return your call.On June 4th we attempted a return call which we were unable to connect with you, and we left a voicemail. In addition to our phone attempt, we also sent an email and text message.On June 14th we received your text message and returned your call which we were unable to connect with you, and we left a voicemail.On June 17th We re-attempted a call with you and conducted a call to explain the benefits of our program. On this call, you informed Uptempo you elected to pay your Lender directly and we immediately did not activate your account and your account was considered and is currently canceled. We were informed you are pleased with the outcome. Contract Date: 5/31/2024 Dealer Name: ******************* Jeep We set the highest standard for our customer service, and were so sorry to hear this was not met in your interaction with our business. While your account was never formally activated and is currently cancelled, we value your feedback. If there is anything else you would like to provide please contact ******************************************** or call our team at ************** and request our Customer Support Manager.     Uptempo's biweekly payment plan has made my auto loan payments exceedingly easier for me to manage. Since I get paid biweekly it's painless for me, my payments are broken in half & sent to my lender on my behalf. Not to mention I will SAVE over 3 thousand dollars in interest by paying my car off 9 months faster all while improving my credit score.. So its defiantly a WIN WIN !! Uptempo's customer service reps always go above and beyond- it feels good knowing they are always available to assist me anytime its needed. When I get a mortgage loan I am definitely setting it up with them, those savings are amazing as well!!

    At no fault of Uptempo, Inc. the dealership where the car was purchased did not explain that a third party company would be completing the transactions for the auto loan. If we had known we would have never agreed. What is their fault is they took money from our account with no account information for our loan. The amount that was taken out was MORE than our car payment. We had to ****** the name on the transaction because we had no idea what it was at the time. When we called to find out what this charge was that's when we discovered that #1 it was a third party company #2 they took the money out of the account and were waiting for someone to call them with the loan information so they could pay OUR loan. If we hadn't called would our money have just sat there? Would they have continued to take money out of our account and just not pay our loan because they didn't have all the information? Why didn't they contact us and say hey we don't have your account number for your loan. You just take our money? If we didn't question it we would think our loan was being paid this entire time. No thank you. We opted out of this program.
