Upon deciding to the purchase a puppy I was told that the puppy had all his shots and was healthy. I was told that if the puppy had any health concern within 14days or purchase, I was able to return the animal, get my vet fees paid or exchange the animal. I put a $1,000 deposit down on the dog as well as financed the other $1,200 through their financial company. Upon two days of having the dog I took him to the vet. The vet notified me that the dog had what appeared to be a falsified rabies vaccination and it also had an ear infection. After providing medical documents, the business is refusing to honor their contract by allowing me one of the three options above. The business only will accept the animal back if a letter from the vet that the vet notified me was illegal to write. I was asked to email documents to an email and never received a response. I asked to speak to a manager and a person in charge of claims to return the animal and was told that it was store policy that the persons whom handled claims were never going to call me. I asked if I could have them call the claims department while I was in the store and they refused and stated it was store policy.The vet informed me that the dog should have come with a good health record certified by a their vet which I did not receive upon buying puppy. Also, the vet whose license number on the rabies vaccination cannot be located via phone. I was exposed to a city crime by believing the puppy had all the shots but did not which could have been a fine as well as exposing myself and other animals. When questioned about the *** number on vaccination sheet I was told that they could just give me any tag number and it did not have to be associated with the puppy. I also researched that the financing company used is fraudulent and known for scamming persons out their money. I also suffered a great deal of emotional stress due to this ordeal leading to hospitalization.
